I really hope we get to see sonic's more introverted side in frontiers

It already looks like they're going for a more serious story with a more somber/melancholic tone so it would fit to see sonic being a bit more reserved

And since his friends aren't gonna be around for a lot of it hopefully we get to see more of his thoughts and feelings when he's alone, and how differently he acts on his own compared to how he usually is around other people

#ramblings #sonic frontiers spoilers #kind of? sort of? idk #anyway #i always loved sonic x's characterization of sonic #he clearly cares about his friends but also values his alone time #and is also pretty emotionally reserved #the one time he cries it's only a few tears and he's alone with chris #and he wasn't even facing him. he was running and looking straight ahead #and when the whole thing with cosmo happened. how he just kinda stood there #while tails was crying over him #he clearly hates people seeing him cry and doesn't let anyone see no matter how bad he may be hurting #and he also had a pretty short temper #which is something that's sometimes mentioned in other media but not really shown a lot #i really hope we get to see something like x sonic again #he's one of my favorite iterations of sonic right next to unleashed/satbk/satsr #and with all the stuff that's happening in frontiers with his friends being captured #and them being all hologram-y even after he frees them #implying that he didn't really save them after all and that there's a lot more to this situation than he first thought #could lend itself to us seeing a different side of sonic #oh also the theme and ending songs give me the impression that we're getting a much angstier sonic game than what we've previously had #tho obviously not too angsty bc. it's sonic lmao it's not gonna get That dark #brain empty no thoughts only son hedge
