since anna and chiara are in the same dorm, i can kind of see them having girls’ nights together !! think makeovers and sleepovers, and just hanging out with facemasks on and movies in the background and giggling about boys !!

ruby would probably drag eva along with her on her adventures. i can also see them stupidly enabling each other, or competing over the stupidest things, like seeing who can eat their lunch faster, or who can get to the top of that tree fastest, and their stunts drive evett wild every time. it’s okay if eva’s in danger; ruby immediately abandons what she’s doing to help her friend out of the mess (that she may or may not have caused), and she’s okay even if doing so causes her injuries; she knows they’ll heal quickly !!

i like the idea of lucy helping chiara out with her magic !! she knows that chiara is scared to hurt people and she doesn’t have much confidence in herself, and it’s lucy’s job as senpai to help her cute little kouhai !! the lessons aren’t going so well, but at least lucy’s no longer getting soaked with water !!

♕ as a prominent member of the heartslabyul mafia, chiara is more than used to seeing people come to their offices, pleading for proection in exchange for money, or brokering deals and trades and negotiations. and when chiara waltzes into headquarters one afternoon, she isn’t particularly surprised when riddle introduces her to their guests, di xin and yabu, members of rival mafia group khanzhao, explaining that they’re in town on business, and tasking chiara with showing them a good time.

♕ chiara agrees to meet up with them tomorrow, and leaves them to discuss business. she goes about her daily routine as per normal, completing minor tasks and making her way to one of riddle’s bars to sing. she arches an eyebrow when she sees yabu at the best table in the house ( almost as if he’s been waiting for her ), but she is nothing if not professional, and after smiling coquettishly his way, starts singing in her usual honeyed tones.

♕ as her performance winds down to a close, a fight breaks out. glasses are shattered, voices rise heatedly, and chiara finds herself stepping in. it’s partly so that her guest won’t get caught up in the melee --- he’s watching her again, with those sharp hawk-like eyes of his --- and she smiles bright and cheery, using her wits and her feminine charms to diffuse the situation.

♕ yabu catches up with her just as she’s preparing to leave. chiara isn’t a fool to let him know where she lives, not when she doesn’t quite trust him yet, but agrees to walk with him to the main road. to her surprise, yabu praises her for resolving the situation as easily as she did, and requests her help tomorrow, as they’ll be travelling to negotiate with weapons dealers.

♕ teasingly, chiara asks him if it’s going to be a date, and mentions that most of her dates buy her dinner first, before they talk about business. yabu counters just as quickly, asking chiara if she’s free for the rest of the night, and sweeps her off to a restaurant.

♕ ( she gets taken out to dinner after the negotiations as well. chiara finds his company pleasant, if him being a little hard to read. )

♛ chiara’s hair is long and curly, reaching her hips and tangles easily. it’s easy to tell when chiara’s woken up late, or is having a bad hair day; she’ll pull her hair back and away from her face, up into a high ponytail with a white ribbon securing her hair.

♛ never ask chiara for directions. she insists she knows her way around campus, she’ll even pull out a map as proof, but it soon becomes clear that this girl is wandering around aimlessly and needs all the help that she can get to navigate.

♛ chiara carries a pharmacy’s worth of medicine and bandages in her bag. she’s clumsy and has frequent accidents, usually tripping over her own two feet and tumbling to the ground in a tangle of limbs. the supplies in her bag mean that she doesn’t have to make the long trip to the infirmary and can bandage her own scrapes and bruises with a skill that belies her young age and appearance.  

♛ that being said, it’s not uncommon to see chiara walking around campus with banages peeking out from under her sleeves or cute pink plasters on her knees.

♛ chiara has a surprisingly high pain tolerance (she walked around with a broken wrist for about an hour after a nasty spill from her broom during flying class), but this means that she often pushes her body to the brink of exhaustion because she doesn’t know when to stop, or because she doesn’t want anyone to worry about her.

♛ aside from her animal companions, chiara didn’t have any friends when she was younger, and she treasures the friends she does have right now. a sure-fire way to make the smile vanish from her face would be to threaten her friends; but be warned --- one may not like the consequences of making chiara angry, as she becomes a far cry from her usual sunny demeanour.

♛ in the mafia verse, chiara serves two roles; her primary role is the honey pot of heartslabyul, using her feminine charms to acquire information from a target, and has no qualms about seducing her targets if the situation calls for it. 

♛ chiara’s innocent and girlish visage means that she isn’t immediately viewed with suspicion and she uses it to her advantage. batting her eyelashes, pushing out a full bottom lip, acting like the blonde airhead her targets expect her to be . . . chiara’s been taught by the best, and she has a myraid of skills at her disposal.

♛ chiara’s wardrobe has undergone a complete makeover. gone are the innocent, girlish pastels (unless she’s off duty), swapped out for figure-hugging black dresses, fur coats, garters and stockings. red lipstick painted over full lips. blonde curls tumbling down her back. 

♛ that being said, chiara is still reluctant to kill. the mafia member who doesn’t kill. she prefers to knock her targets out cold before making a quick escape, either through martial arts or by drugging her targets with a suspicious concoction of drugs she’s cooked up in her office.

♛ chiara’s second role is the doctor. she has a measure of medical experience, and can provide emergency first aid if the situation calls for it. after particularly messy shootouts, tending to the wounded falls to chiara, and she dons a white lab coat and flits from patient to patient, greeting them with a smile and warm tones as she tends to their injuries.

♛ she can’t clearly remember the faces of her parents and other relatives; chiara was sent away at a very young age to live with her three aunts. they were the ones who taught her everything she knows about magic, and placed the family wand in her hand.

♛ chiara’s dislike of violence stems from an unfortunate incident in childhood; a happy child, drunk on power and the possibilities ahead of her, would accidentally unleash a barrage of attack spells on other children in the village. the other children would grow to fear her, calling her a smiling monster, and chiara would later devote herself to only using and learning defensive and support spells.

♛ she’ll only use attack spells on very, very rare occasions; such as when she overblots, or when her friends are being threatened.

♛ chiara tends to favour water magic. it’s easy to tell if she’s had mishaps with her magic; either a collar of shame will be affixed around her neck ( chiara calls riddle’s unique magic ‘the collar of shame’ with a smile, but never to his face ), or her clothes will be sopping wet.

♛ when she can’t sleep, chiara sneaks out of the dorm and runs off to practice her magic in the woods. she’ll try for hours to unleash an attack spell, only for her hands to tremble helplessly and her voice to dry up as she realises that she physically can’t.

she’s met malleus in the woods once or twice. malleus was passing by, and didn’t plan to get involved, but after seeing chiara try and fail to cast magic, he stopped to offer advice, remarking that she was too scared, which was most likely what was stopping her from progressing.

♛ chiara’s unique magic is called: if you dream a thing more than once, it's sure to come true. her magic lasts for a span of sixteen minutes; she can see the future, and the various outcomes that her actions will lead to. once sixteen minutes are over, she’ll be drained of energy, and will need to rest to recover her strength.

♛ malleus and chiara met unofficially in the woods; chiara was lost in the woods, and was unable to find her way out. malleus, passing by, used his magic, in the form of green flames to guide her out of the woods. he never revealed himself to her, and chiara left the woods unharmed and none the wiser that he was there.

♛ their second official meeting was just as much of a disaster; a shaking chiara resembled a newborn fawn as she plucked up all of her courage to extend a hand to malleus to ask if they could be friends. chiara was also very nearly scared off by sebek; although she did run off immediately after malleus agreed to be friends. her face was bright red and her heart refused to calm down.

♛ chiara frequently shows up at diasomnia with baked treats that she’s made herself; her first few visits to the dorm sees chiara entering and leaving with quivering limbs. malleus thinks that her baked goods are offerings of a sort, and very bluntly asks her what she wants in return for her tributes; after laughing at how serious he sounds, chiara once again repeats her request to be friends, surprised to find that she isn’t shaking as much this time.

♛ malleus’ love languages are quality time and physical touch. quality time with malleus consists of spending time in the kitchen with chiara as she teaches him how to bake, visits to the stables with her, long walks with her around the school. physical affection in public consists of holding hands, an arm looped protectively around chiara’s waist, head pats, and quick kisses pressed to her forehead, to her cheek, or to the back of her hand. malleus would be lying if he says that he doesn’t enjoy the bright flush dancing across chiara’s cheeks. physical affection becomes more intimate in private.

♛ chiara’s love languages are receiving gifts and quality time. she has a preference for giving handmade gifts, and these usually consist of her cooking, or giving malleus things such as pretty shells, or flowers from her garden. malleus presses the flowers, and keeps them tucked away in his books.

♛ chiara’s hair is long, and tangles easily; morning rituals with malleus consist of him running a brush gently through her curls, working out the snags and tangles in her hair, followed by tying her hair up with her ribbon.

♛ if malleus is unable to fall asleep, chiara finds that lulling him back to sleep becomes all too easy if she sings him a lullaby. her voice is soft and sweet, and is pleasing to the ears. ( malleus falls asleep even more quickly if she strokes his hair. )

♛ chiara finally manages to use attack magic after her friends are threatened; her very first spell consists of a great stream of water resembling a dragon. ( the symbolism of it all is not lost on chiara, who flushes pink everytime she so much as thinks about it; in a way, she thinks it’s almost as if malleus is protecting her. )
