G3 Heath redesign based off his concepts <3 whyd they have to go with the blandest design for the final one, heartbreaking.

Thinking of an episode where Holt and Jackson decide to visit Heath at Monster High over the weekend. Everyone but Heath notices how jealous the boys seem to be of them and how possessive they are of their cousin. The two act hostile and cruel to the boo crew behind his back and play the victim/innocent if anyone tries to tell him about it.

Heath believes the boys over his friends for most of the episode because they grew up together and would never do such a thing until he sees the behavior himself and gets angry, lecturing them on their actions and how he doesn't want to be friends with them if they treat his boo crew like that.

The cousins don't make up right away, not for a few episodes. Holt and Jackson get that whole "If I can't be his friend, then no one can" belief and try to sabotage his relationships and almost succeed a few times before peace is made between the three. Could end the tone of "therapy is great" to kinda drill that point home.

(if Holt and Jackson don't get added to the show soon, the hypotheticals will consume me) ((yes I wrote this like the boys are two separate people but it's legit easier that way, trust me))

Alright, seeing them standing next to each other, really makes Heath & Deuce look like some kind of weird alternate versions of Archie & Jughead.

Something a little different for this account! I wanted to try my hand at making some icons, and I decided to do it with G3 Heath as he is one of my favorite characters from the new Monster High and I think he deserves much more love. He’s the best version of Heath, in my opinion, he’s so cute, funny and polite. Plus I think I’m one of five people who actually like his canon design- especially his webisodes design. It’s comfy and casual, like a regular teen! I HC that it’s a way for him to rebel from his father, Hades Burns, who dresses more formally than him. What do you think?

I love how frequently therapy was brought up in Crushed with zero ridicule behind it. Heath goes to therapy? That’s awesome and it really supports him !!

And then Cleo encourages Frankie to meet with a therapist if they feel it will support them. There’s no “bruh, you need a therapist” in any way that would distill mortification in someone.

Therapy is nothing that should be shamed, and I think it’s wonderful that Monster High is integrating subjects of therapy in healthy ways that convey it as a support that everyone can use (which it is) :)

...I just never posted this apparently, anyway-

I redesigned G3 Heath :) I'd say I'm still not 100% with my redesign for him but yeah, overall happy with how it turned out, so yeah this how I'd design a G3 look for him :) I tried to keep the blue of his redesign since that is pretty important to his new design while not straying too close to Holt (intend to design a G3 look for him and Jackson at a later date). Also dialled back that fire motifs as they feel a bit too heavy to me.

I really like his new shoes so I kept those pretty much the same, just switching up the colours and giving him velcros because I think he'd have that.

I tossed up between giving him sweatpants or shorts (went as far as drawing both) but I settled on the pants as I enjoy the idea of the dying embers look the rips give them. (I am unsure if this trait carried over but at least in G1 he had poor control of his fire powers, so thats a fun way to represent that)

But yeah be on the look out for Holt and/or Jackson from me later because those are the next two on the list (also I should check if I posted the G1 line up drawing I did lol)

WHOO!! I'm so excited for the s1 Finale of Nickelodeon's Monster High !! So to celebrate, I decided to draw my FAVOURITE Monster High couple, Heath & Abbey at the Monster Ball. I'm so glad they're going together!! I'm so incredibly excited for this, and cannot wait to see how these episodes unfold. I LOVE Monster High so much, and all of G3's show has just been so wonderful, thanks to Shea Fontana and the amazing Monster High team. Here's to an awesome season finale, and an exciting future with s2 !! ♡

ok i have a lot of thoughts but considering Frankie early in the series referred to Heath’s dad as ‘the devil’ and he himself is Hades, CEO of the underworld, and there’s plenty of devil references made abt him by Heath in early eps (‘fiddle’ and such), i keep wondering how mythos overlaps in the mh universe and how it’s like - yes he’s Hades , but x group of ppl refer to him as the devil - due to different cultural interpretations.

i’m also wondering how is the the underworld interacting with the very concept of undead monsters , how is the underworld built and what does it exactly constitute in a world where the afterlife is not entirely a constant for all , as some / many are ghosts , zombies , vamps , etc does Hades in mh canon dictate their fate as such given he is the the one who in essence organises the souls in the underworld , or does he have any jurisdiction over monster type deaths and like ?

i’m curious as for the implications of his existence and how it plays into the mh universe , what’s the structure yk , this si very interesting to me idk also give baby cerberus an appearance ! where’s persephone and what’s their canon in mh ?
