Cody was a really good pony today overall. We did things we've never done before, without much prep... even though he had a meltdown in trail over the guys working machinery in the indoor barn, he managed to come back and put in respectable ranch rail pleasure and riding classes (with some pretty expressive bucking that had the judges impressed with me). We both had fun and even managed to beat some people who actually do this regularly (or at least it wasn't their 3rd time riding pony in a curb bit and split reins)!!!!
