for every silly shin kr drawing i want to do i try make myself sit back down and do another piece alongside it more directly connected to the work. it (kinda) keeps my priorities straight.
#there's a lot of particulars that are difficult to grasp that make it a little more difficult to confront#the hachi pictures i made i struggled a lot with being happy with any face i gave her#her masking and composure... i think often about how she sounds in the dedicated trailer cut re: her and ruriko#but the faces she allows people to see is always smiling and such.#the direction of the film in general (the centering of dead-on face shots and the presence of the helmets) invites a lot of thought into#that sort of dynamic... but when i put my hands to it i feel like it's difficult to meet in a means that proper suits it#anyway the biggest thing reason for above is that it's a precaution to keep me from embarrasing myself drawing k.k forever honestly#krtext
