The Healer of Lothering and Her Aide by an Unknown Painter

A non main ws Hawke getting the limelight? Why yes yes it is!

Meet Herminia or Inyang for short, she falls for Orsino after they met in the Fade by chance in their sleep and maintained a long distance relationship through that. (Carver calls him her Fade Suitor, Bethany thinks its a love story straight out of a fairytale, Leandra just wants grandbabies)

Inyang paints her lips a red shade cause her lips are blue tinged from constantly using her spirit healer abilities and her eyes are this v pale shade from that same reason

She and Leandra are close and she developed a tendency to emulate Leandra a lot of the time to the point that she gets called "Little 'Nay" by Carver and Bethany

She worked as Lothering's healer with them knowing she's an apostate but every bit of magic is waved off as her being a really really good healer and Beth is there to act as her aide for any practical medicine stuff

Also remember that kid who lost his mom to wolves in Lothering? She takes him with the Hawke family when fleeing Lothering. He emotionally adopted her by the time they reached Kirkwall and she took him in as her babie.

the year is 1885. the world is becoming a new place: everywhere, new railroads, factories, and technological innovations are thrusting their way into the centre stage of grand cities, and with them, they bring the stirrings of societal change. old traditions and rules are being challenged, new avenues of opportunity are opening up, and change is around every corner. some cling to the old ways; others are eager to blaze new trails.

WHAT IS THIS GROUP?

this will be a discord-based rp server taking place in victorian era london. you don’t need to have a blog for your character in order to join the server — all roleplaying will be done through discord itself. all sorts of characters are welcome, from canon characters to original creations — the only characters not accepted are real-life historical figures (like jack the ripper, queen victoria, etc). you may join with a character from any class level: we want a healthy mix of characters who are upper class, middle class, working class, or in poverty. you don’t need to be an expert on victorian era society, but please do at least a little research into what jobs your characters might have, to keep things realistic and varied.

mutuals and non-mutuals alike can join. just send me an ask with the form below filled out for your character, and if you’re accepted, i will send you the link to the discord server.

So just some updates on the revamped names:

Benedicta Alejandra Hawke y Amell - in true spanish colonial fashion I decided to go and give Benedicta an extra first name (it’s normal here to have two names so-) along with adding the y [maternal surname]. Benedicta’s name as a whole now translates to Blessed Defender of Mankind. (also for all my pinoy coded Hawkes, I actually HC Malcolm’s surname to actually be Halcon or Lawin along with his first name not really being Malcolm but after fleeing the Circle, he changed his name to make sure all his tracks are hidden)

Dalisay Kato Bagwisan - I fixed the spelling of the word away from its hispanicised spelling because fuck off colonisation I don’t need you in this bs when my focus is pre-colonial. Bagwis = soft feathers and from what I’ve double checked, Bagwisan is more like pulling off the feathers

Atubang Mahalina Kato Bagwisan - Atubang translates to advisor so that’s not a second name so much as Mahalina being called the advisor to his mother, Hara Luwalhati

Elaria “Aria” Anita Hawke y Amell - Whole name meaning is A glorified and graceful being.

Amada Carmelita dela Rosa y Salazar - This is a new OC for a WS I made and the whole name meaning from first to last names are Lovable Little Poem of the Rose and Manor House

Valeria Herminia “Inyang” Hawke y Amell - Inyang’s new name meaning is Strong Messenger

Punong Tambalan Sampaguita “Guita” Kato Marahuyo - Punong Tambalan is Guita’s title which translates to Head Healer while her clan name translates to “to be enchanted”

Don Romualdo Abilo Tumangan y Veneracion - Translated, Romualdo’s name meanings are (and this is by mixing the order up) One who is able to rule, to hold and venerate (I know Veneracion is Veneration but you get the gist)
