Oh. He didn’’t want it. She was absolutely convinced that her chocolate-oden was flawlessly delicious, thus his decision slightly confused her, but she would not complain. More food for her. She was already munching on it. But regardless, Okita was still determined to hang out with this person. Unfortunately, this poor soul had no idea how to start a conversation, or how people usually spent time together, thus she was just silently following him around while stuffing her face.

Somehow it did not surprise her. That question, she knew immediately he was not joking, she saw his honest confusion in his blank eyes. But even if he had changed, even if he did not remember her, Shirou would always be Shirou.

Rin won a grail war with me, whereas you have a sister that I had to convince not to use butter as lube.  Well. With me loosely affiliated with her grail success. She won, I was in the corner, and she’s my favourite.

Months spent together didn’t matter. 

The 126 Proofs of Heroes, 44 Infinity Gears, 6 Hearts of Foreign Gods, 140 Void Dust, 48 Phoenix Plumes, and over 250 Gold Embers meant less to him than imagined. 

Over dozens of singularities and cooking lessons- they were just that and nothing more, huh? The fact the Archer told him his reasons with wording that gave off the impression he was comparing him to his former master- that was salt to his wounds. One War however long it last managed to captivate his heart more firmly then everything they’ve been through and experienced over these few months together. 

“So saving humanity past, present and future isn’t enough for you? Fine. It’s clear that as we are now is how things will stay until everything is resolved. Just Master and Servant.”  It was clear from the look and tone he was hurt, livid and yet restraining himself from throwing a fit.
