In every issue of S2Y2K© magazine, you'll find features, previews, reviews and guides for the latest in Art, Anime, Music, Film and Gaming and much more. As the first issue, this edition is jam packed with photos from the S2Y2K© lookbook, exclusive offers and discounts on digital products and various other elements created specifically or the release of both this magazine and the accompanying merchandise. Started in early 2023 and finishing in late April 2024 you’ll be kept up-to-date and updated with all things happening in my culture.

PukeBoy© iOS: Lock Screen Pack

Featured: Public Test Screen

The PukeBoy© iOS Lock Screen Pack is a collection of wallpapers inspired by the original Gameboy released in 1989 in Japan and then a year later in 1990 for the West. In anticipation for the release of S2Y2K, RAPHYART© and HeroPuke© have designed a collection of lockscreens and watch faces to follow the drop planned for a potential November release.

Although Emulator’s are far and few between on iOS, experience a change of face with the PukeBoy© Collection that pays homage to multiple videogames, classic designs, original designs and other popular iP’s.

QR Code’s can be located in the S2Y2K magazine that when scanned will lead you to a special link that will allow you download, save and keep the Lock Screen and Watch Face Packs forever. These QR codes will be individual to each copy of a magazine.

Note: Due to the nature of Apple Devices there are some design limitations with some of the watch faces such as changes in time may push the numerical figures out of the bounds set within the image itself, This will change throught the day with some numbers breaching border boundaries more than others. This issue being one of the main.

PRETTY GIRLS WEAR RAPH ANIMATION

This illustration showcases some of my recent designs for S2Y2K and some of the OG S1 pieces. For a lot of the merch in S1, I ended up incorporating the logos in a lot of the illustrations i had created of myself in unrelated future pieces. This would be the first illustration that shows the new pieces in such a style.

Due to the nature of the image, it was fun placing numerous little easter eggs and inspirations within the scene. In the background, a Cactuar as seen in the Final Fantasy series of games can be seen. The Final Fantasy series being one of my favourite video game series- Initially i was going to use a KAWS figure of even a Heropuke but ended up going with the final option of a Cactuar. In the close foreground, on the table numerous other easter eggs can also be seen such the late Virgil Abloh’s Figures of Speech catalogue book, A Death note, The Life of Pi’erre 4 CD and “Routine” (From the same album) playing off a iPhone, A Gameboy Color (Seen with the Pukeboy loading screen), a RAPHYART x NIKE MORE ARTEMPO shoe poster and a calendar featuring a potential drop date (August 1st 2023).

The final image consisted of 700+ layers which surprised me for some reason.

SAGA OF THE HEART: ACT 1 Frames

This original short story takes visual inspiration from such anime’s such as Berserk: The Golden Age Saga I, II and III and Neon Genesis Evangelion)

The colour scheme of the Heropuke figure has been changed to resemble Griffith’s Behelit an important object in the story of the Beserk series.

The Images take inspiration from Berserk whereas the video edit is heavily inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion’s The End of Evangelion.
