Viz Media released 16 volumes of the 42-volume manga in North America, and it describes the story:
When Reborn, a fedora-wearing, gun-toting toddler, arrives and says he’s come to groom Tsuna for his future as boss of an Italian organized crime family, Tsuna is more than a little skeptical. But Reborn may have the “magic bullet” necessary to turn Tsuna’s life around!
Amano launched Reborn! in Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2004, and ended it in 2012. The manga’s television anime adaptation ran from 2006 to 2010. Crunchyroll and Viz Media streamed the anime adaptation outside Japan. Discotek Media recently announced its license of the anime.
The “Amano Akira Illustrations Exhibition” event presented a special collaboration mini anime video of Amano’s Reborn! and ēlDLIVE manga when it opened in July 2016. The video featured the first anime footage of Reborn! in six years since the television anime ended in 2010.

Reborn! The Stage (2018) Curtain Call Translation [1/3]
This is a translation of the speeches they give in the first stage play. In this part are speeches of the ensemble, Daily arc and Kokuyo Gang characters. Lancia’s actor’s speech was pretty entertaining, since he got the audience to shout “Senja Reppa” with him, and we also got a short message from Chikusa.
Neeko / Reborn
Ciaossu! Thank you for watching the play today! We were able to reach Closing Night thanks to your support!
Thank you so much to everyone who came here today, as well as all the people watching and enjoying the live viewing of the play in movie theaters all over the country!
Since it’s our Closing Night today, all the cast members will be giving a speech for you all. First up is one of the ensemble, Kondo-san, or Kon-chan, and we’ll proceed in sequential order.
Kondo Aya
Okay! I’m Kondo Aya, and I got to be one of the ensemble. I feel truly honored to be part of this play. Thank you for suffering through― Ah, I mean for coming―
Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!
Thank you very much for coming today!
Kinugasa Tomohiro
N: Oh, do it in sequential order. One after another.
KT: May I? Oh, um… I’m Kinugasa Tomohiro, one of the ensemble. Thank you for coming today. Um.. oh, thank you.
I’m so glad that many people have enjoyed watching us each day, and that we got to enjoy it with them. What I feel most happy about though is how the whole cast is able to stand here, right at this moment, and give a speech.
Each of us will keep on doing our best in our own ways, so I hope you’ll keep supporting us. Thank you for today.
Mine Yutori
I’m Mine Yutori, and I played as one of the ensemble. Basically, I am very happy to be able to be in the Reborn! world. Thank you so much.
Arita Kyouko
[speaking in Chinese]
Xie xie.
I played I-pin, and I’m also one of the ensemble. My name is Arita Kyouko. With the help of the wonderful cast lined up here, the staff, and also the audience who came each day, we were able to hold the final Closing Night here in Osaka, my hometown, and I’m very grateful for that. Thank you so much for everything!
Kumagai Kaito / Fuuta de la Stella
I’m Kumagai Kaito, Fuuta’s actor. We managed to do all 22 shows of Reborn! The Stage without incident. I firmly believe that it’s all thanks to the people who supported us each show, including the ones who came here today, and of course the ones who are supporting us through the live viewing.
It was truly a pleasure being able to be in the world of REBORN! as Fuuta. Thank you very much for coming today.
Toyota Maki / Bianchi
I’m Toyota Maki, Bianchi’s actress.
To be honest, I had been uneasy up until the day we actually started performing. It’s my first time appearing in a huge series like this, and I had to act like everybody’s older sister even though in terms of actual ages, everyone’s actually my senior.
Yeah, I’m not acting like it, but they’re all my seniors, and all of them really helped me out during rehearsals.
And my dear Reborn accompanied with me during free- What’s it called? Free practice. My dear brother, Hayato, did too. And really, everyone else. Everybody has truly helped me out, more than I can count.
Then, once we started performing, it’s the audience that has been supporting me. I’m one of the people who got to walk on the walkway, and it was truly a pleasure to feel everyone’s love up close.
This role has truly, truly, been a pleasure to receive. I really do love Bianchi. Thank you so much for the all the support!
Nagashima Seira / Miura Haru
Okay, I’m Nagashima Seira, Miura Haru’s actress. It’s truly been a pleasure to be able to be in a well-loved series like REBORN! and it’s stage play.
More than that, being able to act as Haru-chan has really been an experience I will treasure all my life. Thank you so much.
Ito Yui / Sasagawa Kyoko
I’m Ito Yui and I played as Sasagawa Kyoko. Thank you very much to everyone who came here today, and also to those watching the live-viewing.
It’s not often that I get to be in a big series that has a live-viewing, so I am very glad I got to be in this one. I’ll make sure to keep in mind everything I’ve learned here and keep on doing my best. Thank you so much for today.
Kawakami Shota / Lancia
I’m Kawakami Shota, Lancia’s actor. Thank you so much for today. It’s truly thanks to the whole troupe and you all for supporting us that I was able to learn a lot of new things, experiences, and wonderful memories. Let’s keep on loving REBORN! and its stage play.
And so! Lastly, I’d like to end with a call-and-response that made quite the buzz during the last curtain call speech I did.
…Okay! So. Um, if you would.
To elaborate, when I say “Senja” please answer with “Reppa”. (Apparently he came up with this because he was criticized for being way too serious when he was in charge of the Curtain Call in Tokyo, and had even rehearsed for it in the green room, lol)
We’ll keep doing this until everyone here is united with those watching the live-viewing in theaters.
Let’s do this! Ready, set…
SENJA?
Audience: Reppa!
One more time!
SENJA?
A: Reppa!
Thank you!
Hirayama Rino /M.M.
Okay! Lancia-san, I thought that was really good!Thank you!
Okay. I’m Hirayama Rino and I acted as M.M.. I grew to love REBORN! and M.M. thanks to this play. And it was a great pleasure to live and act as M.M. in this world with everyone else.
I would love to appear before you all and see you again as M.M.. I’d like to keep believing it’ll happen, so please continue on supporting REBORN! and Reborn! The Stage. Thank you.
Inagaki Seiya / Kakimoto Chikusa
I’m Inagaki Seiya, Kakimoto Chikusa’s actor. This time…um…
?: Speak up…
Ah! I’m Inagaki Seiya, Kakimoto Chikusa’s actor. I really got to enjoy performing and working with the incredible actors and staff in this play. And it’s all thanks to you all for supporting us like this. I really am grateful. Thank you.
Lastly, here’s a message from Chikusa:
I want… to shower.
That’s all! Thank you!
Shiina Taizo / Joshima Ken
Can I talk now?
I’m Shiina Taizo, Joshima Ken’s actor. Thank you for today. It was like I was a student again, from rehearsals up until the real thing. We had a great time, with lots of fun and laughs.
Hopefully, there would come a day I would get to see you all again while in this costume. Thank you for coming today!
Wada Masanari / Rokudo Mukuro
My name is Wada Masanari and I played as Rokudo Mukuro. It’s thanks to all of you that we are able to spend the Closing Night with a smile.
I will be back… from the other side of the cycle.
Arrivederci to you all.
Excuse us for a moment.
Kimeru (Lambo’s actor): Hm?
WM: I’ve been meaning to tell you something…
WM: Cut it out!
K: Wah! To-le-rate…
WM: We’re good.
