#kr revice lb #kr lb #umbrella.thoughts #umbrella.posts #i've never been more attracted to george than i am rn #anyways ikki forgot his parents and i cried #and george is trying to prove a point and i cried #hiromi and george are platonic to me #like their relationship feels so much like friends who've known each other for a while but it feels like forever #the type of relationship where you believe you know all you can about the person but they have so much more information about them branchin #off with their relationships to other people #hiromi can sense something is very off with george but can't understand it bc he couldn't understand george's relationship with his father #i think about the idea of acceptance and how it applies throughout this series as characters make mistakes and try to atone #i think about the acceptance of the past having happened and how everyone has to keep moving forward #i think about how ikki had to accept what he did to jiko and had to accept his memory loss #i think about daiji having to accept that he's done bad things but can redeem himself #i think about sakura accepting her weakness and hanna accepting responsibility and tamaki accepting that he was wrong #i think about hiromi accepting that he let his righteousness get the better of him and genta forgiving vail and accepting him #i'm thinking a lot of thoughts

First, I think I'll call the Au "Heirs of Giff"

Second, Hiromi in this AU is going to be a double agent in Fenix working for Weekend as Daiji is going to be the double agent working for the cult within Fenix (much like in the fanfic you were referencing). Neither knows that the other is a double agent and feels really guilty about it because they keep making lovesick puppy eyes at each other. Also, Daiji and Kagerou are arguing about recruiting Hiromi into the cult while Hiromi struggles not to reveal how corrupt Fenix is and that taking Daiji to join Weekend will keep him safe. Oh, and the moment it's revealed that both are double agents, you best believe the angst will hit like a truck.

I even came up with a reason for why Hiromi joined Weekend in the first place. It's because when he was a little kid, I wandered a little too far from home and somehow was abducted by the cult, only for Genta to save him as Kamen Rider Vail and start his dream of becoming a hero. He joined Weekend because, as a kid, he overheard Genta and Karizaki Sr talking over coms and name dropping their organization. Karizaki Sr. had Hiromi work as a double agent in Fenix to keep an eye on his son and make sure George is safe. So yeah, also cue some platonic Hiromi&George angst because his only friend turned out to be a spy his father had ordered to keep tabs on him

Not many that I wished I liked, but when I'm not into a pair that a lot of people like it's usually bc they feel so strictly platonic that I cannot view them in a romantic light at all, like it's impossible.
