𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥  𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞  :    alexander  river  o’connor  . 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬  :   only  goes  by  river  . 𝐚𝐠𝐞  : twenty  one  years  . 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲  &  𝐳𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐜  : leo  sun  ,  aquarius  moon  ,  gemini  ascendant  !   𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧  :    tampa  ,  florida  . 𝐬𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥  𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧  : swings  both  ways (  family  are  unaware  ) , &  has  only  been  in  relationships  with  girls  so  far  . 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲  :  painfully  caucasian  . 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐤𝐬  &  𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞  𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬  :  obnoxious  laughter  ,  snapbacks  ,  empty  beer  cans  ,  protein  shakes  ,  dust-covered  study  books  ,  two  seasons  into  spongebob  squarepants  on  netflix  ,  unread  message  from  father  ,  bitten  nails  ,  overflown  trash  cans  ,  used  condoms  ,  cupboard  full  of  ramen  pots  .   𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐒  : • the  o’connor’s  hail  from  an  incredibly  political  background  .  river’s  grandfather  ,  great  grandfather  were  both  former  mayors  ,  his  father  is  a  wealthy  senator  &  his  mother  a  news  anchor  with  a  heavy  hand  in  journalism  ,  she's  been  called  out  for  her  controversial  right  -  wing  opinions  in  the  media  .  river’s  raised  in  a  family  who  hold  strong  christian  ,  conservative  values  ( republicans  ,  yuck  !  )  though  his  father  remarried  two  times  before  winding  up  with  river’s  mom  .  needless  to  say  ,  this  clueless  boy  stuck  out  like  a  sore  thumb  compared  to  the  rest  of  his  full  &  half  -  siblings ; who  all  had  fixated  dreams &  plans  from  a  young  age  ,  whether  that  was  delving  into  medicine  ,  business  innovation  and  even  the  world  of  criminal  law  . • in  all  honesty  ,  though  ,  let’s  not  get  it  twisted  !  river  was  subject  to  a  very  privileged  childhood  .  he  had  everything  handed  to  him  on  a  silver  platter  until  the  age  of  sixteen  lmao  &  that’s  when  his  father  was  tireless  with  his  efforts  to  align  his  political  aspirations  with  river’s  future  .  he  made  sure  that  river  was  a  hard  working  boy  with  several  public  sector  volunteering  jobs  along  with  school  (  it  was  more-so  about  maintaining  “image”  &  brushing  up  on  prowess  ) ,  & all  throughout  high  school  he  still  sustained  tip  top  grades  .   •  during  his  private  academy  years  river  was  also  an  active  member  of  his  school  council  ,  debate  team  ,  played  lacrosse  &  football  but  really  fell  in  love  with  football  more  than  anything  .  he  dropped  the  rest  of  the  extracurricular’s  towards  the  end  to  focus  on  football  ,  as  his  coach  was  a  huge  positive  influence & encouraged  him  to  pursue  this  lil’  ol  ambition  !   •  so  lets  skip  to  college  !  river  knew  by  senior  year  he  wanted  to  get  away  from  florida  and  embellish  in  new  surroundings  for  his  college  years  . ngl  his  family  initially  wanted  him  to  go  to  harvard  so  he  had  to  put  up  a  good  fight  to  attend  hollingsworth  .  he  pledged  for  pike  even  though  his  upbringing  was  more  aligned  with  the  sigma  house  ,  but  tbh  river  knew  from  the  get-go  he'd  better  fit  with  his  pike  brothers  'cause  thats  where  he  could  find  kindred  souls  for  his  love  of  football  .  he  immediately  hurled  himself  into  a  wild  partying  lifestyle  (  lets  get  reckless  luv   )  .  alcohol  ,  drugs  ,  sex  ,  you  name  it  .  &  as  of  now   he  is  currently  playing  for  the  college  football  team  as  a  wide  receiver  in  the  pipeline  dream  of  getting  scouted  lmao  ,  but  his  parents  of  course  pushed  him  to  take  on  a  degree  that  could  be  utilised  for  a  political  future  .  he  figured  business  law  was  perhaps  the  most  ideal  course  of  action  'cause  he  really  doesn't  want  to  delve  into  the  world  of  politics  ,  especially  seeing  as  he  internally  opposes  everything  his  family  holds  dear  as  their  beliefs  .  also  ,  if  the  football  thing  doesn't  work  out  for  him  ,  corporate  law  is  the  next  best  thing  fdjdfnj  . so  yeah  !  though  he  comes  across  really  meathead  -  like  &  kind  of ( ? )  a  mess  ,  back  home  river’s  family  are  on  the  receiving  end  of  a  more  polished  ,  cultivated  version  of  their  son .  

𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀 :

•  okay  first  thing’s  first  .  river’s  a  huge  shithead  but  the  rare  times  get  him  in  his  philosophical  spiels  talking  about  the  world’s  political  state  ,  or  rather  ,  america’s  political  state  ,  he’s  far  more  woke  than  his  family  ,  &  actually  doesn’t  believe  in  a  lot  of  what  his  family  spews  .  there  have  been  far  too  many  family  dinners  where  there’s  been  heated  debates  between  him  &  his  relatives  .  some  of  his  siblings  also  share  progressive  opinions  but  there  are  others  (  the  older  ones  )  that  are  exact  replicas  of  his  father  lmao •  as  i’ve  mentioned  before  ,  he’s  become  a  huge  party  boy  ,  &  with  this  ,  unfortunately  ,  in  the  recent  year  there’s  been  a  slight  dependency  for  the  bottle  (  jsyk  he’s  not  a  raging  alcoholic  yet  but  im  js  nine  times  out  of  ten  you’ll  find  homeboy  buzzed )  .  river  doesn’t  think  he  really  has  a  problem  though  , &  he  especially  doesn’t  think  he  has  a  place  to  really  scream “  woe  is  me  “  ,  if  that  makes  sense ?  he’s  aware  of  his  privilege  &  most  times  when  he  feels  the  whole  world  is  piling  on  top  of  him  ,  it’s  just  easier  to  go  out    &  turn  up  .  he’s  stressed  a  lot  of  the  time  ,  but  again  ,  it’s  easier  to  bury  this  with  the  company  of  his  friends  on  some  #lets  get  wrecked  boys  lmao  .  also  when  he  goes  back  home  between  semesters  ,  he  helps  with  his  father’s  campaign  &  the  like  .  there’s  responsibilities  ,  he  doesn’t  get  to  go  back  home  for  a  break  .  he  used  to  be  a  freak  of  routine  &  get  lit  until  six  in  the  morning  every  day  &  then  run  his  normal  errands  on  no  sleep  but  recently  his  partying  habits  have  caught  up  to  him  ddfjnfd  he's  kinda  been  having  more  and  more  trouble  recovering  as  time  has  gone  on  . his  attendance  at  school  is  slowly  declining  this  year  cause  there'll  be  days  where  he  misses continual  day's  worth  of  classes  and  you  wont  hear  from  him  for a while... but  eventually  he’ll  show  up  like  nothing  was  wrong  . :~) •  an  attention  -  seeking  fuckboy  ,  he  can  very  loud  and  vulgar  but  is  here  for  a  good  time  not a  long  time.  most  of  his  relationships  have  either  been  very  on  /  off or  flings  that  have fizzled out  due  to  the  fact  he’s  a  leo  &  river  is  too  invested  in  himself  to ~ open up ~  emotionally   .  he’s  an  athlete  so  he  is  very  competitive  ,  a  sore  loser  dfjndfj  & can  have  a  melodramatic  temper  both  off  and  on  the  field  !

second son of hall of fame ex falcons qb , miles pierce , and entrepreneur and daughter of a famed manhattan - based art collector , amélie pierce – rome’s future was pretty non - negotiable since day one . as soon as they could stumble around enough to pass for walking , miles had his sons enrolled in as many football programs as he legally could .

when rome was young , he loved it . the attention , the praise he received for his quickness despite being one of the smallest kids on the field . plus , going to his father’s games and being recognized as miles pierce’s kids was also fun . soon came time for the inevitable retirement on the heel of a downward - trending career , and after that things … changed .

suddenly , it was less praise and more demands . earlier practices , with his father making rome and his brother run drills until they were sick . suddenly , things that were previously good weren’t good enough , despite how much better his sons continued to be .

as anyone with half a brain could guess , these pressures eventually began to take their toll . with interests in anything else repressed by his father’s insistence that football is and always will be the most important thing in life , rome began to emulate his father’s aggressive attitude , first bringing it to the field and then , more notably , to his personal life . failed relationships , fights at school , sneaking home late absolutely blitzed out of his mind – none of the behaviors were healthy , but they were enough to take the weight of his father’s hands off of his shoulders , if only for a moment . until papa helicopter parent found out , that is .

tw abuse : despite his sons catering to his every will , miles’ incessant anger began to worsen , and soon a lot of the verbal abuse had started to become physical , too . sure , rome knew that it was wrong , but he also thought that maybe if he’d been better in the game last night , or worked harder at practice , maybe he’d stop .

he made varsity his freshman year of high school and took his team to the state championships , expecting his dad to finally approve of something he’d done . instead , he came home to the news that his mother was leaving – that his parents were splitting up and that this had been a long time combing . safe to say this mama’s boy ass bitch was devastated.

tw death : his dad only sunk deeper into his madness , but all that anyone else could see is that rome was throwing further , moving faster , and making better plays . a non - football related injury left him with a broken arm , and it was on the way home from the hospital that his father received the call that his ex - wife had taken her own life . devastated part ii , coming soon to a theater near you !

tw drugs , alcohol , general debauchery : the partying worsened . rome had entered a phase in his life where he was looking for something – anything to completely wipe his mind of any and all thoughts . the drugs , the alcohol , it was all a coping mechanism , but it definitely wasn’t a healthy one . soon , his brother left for college thousands of miles away , and rome found out that that fifth of rum goes down a lot easier after doing a few lines beforehand .

he chose to go to college in cali not because he wanted to , but because his dad knew that hollingsworth was a great school for scouting attention . in his midst of an extended bender compounded by having training now twice a day everyday on top of college courses , he decided to join pike – and he absolutely loves it .

he chose to major in psych because he wants to understand why his dad hates him so much skjfjks dumb b*tch .

also last summer he may or may not have allegedly accidentally wrapped his masterati around a telephone pole and gotten a dui . in reality , it was his brother’s accidental doing after a rather... heated argument between the two , but roman told him to gtfo and he’d take the fall because his bro finally managed to escape his dad and rome didn’t want him to suffer the same fate . it made headlines , but his dad pulled approximately 6 billion strings to get him conditionally reinstated to the team .

spent the summer before his junior year chillin in rehab , but he relapsed shortly after . consistency is key here , kids.

still bender - adjacent , but he’s kept it more lowkey because the nfl draft is coming in hot .

he really ………….. kinda sux , objectively sfdkjsdfjk . personality-wise and bc he has a southern accent .

he has so , so much pent up frustration and anger directed at his father and himself that it manifests in some pretty shitty behaviors .

he’s definitely controlling ( as a consequence of having v v little control over his own life ) , and he’ll manipulate any situation he deems worthy of his effort just to assure that he isn’t in any state of vulnerability .

i know yall get it , he vapes , but he’s definitely the kind of guy to try to keep the party running til 5 am and get pissed when people tell him that maybe he should stop .

he will provoke anyone and anything ( even inanimate objects ) if found in a self - destructive enough mood .

has a notoriously short temper , but what kind of gym rat doesn’t .

manages to still attain a 4.0 ( and in his words , psych is easy ) , so that’s another thing that makes it difficult for him to understand that his lifestyle is … per se … problematique .

family ties 

the name navarro has definitely been painted gold for a while. greta is the child bruno navarro who was passed down his fortune of nava pharmaceuticals - an internationally recognized healthcare company which deals with pharmaceutical merchandise and diagnostics 

she has two brothers which would’ve undeniably been first in line to take their father’s place if they played their cards right

her mother was an ambassador for the company but her voice always meant very little. she never complained though.. being ambassador meant long business trips to places she would never get a chance to visit and live a lavish life without being too burdened 

greta was awfully competitive though and never let herself be thrown to the side. the female roles instilled in her brain seemed like a waste of time and she wanted to be the best , especially in things that others told her she wouldn’t be 

when she was little, it was about the adrenaline of proving everyone wrong but when she got older, she realised her need to succeed and be seen was more deep rooted than that. it wasn’t unusual for greta to feel alien to her parents but seeing as all her private school friends could relate, it didn’t bother her too much. it was the values instilled in her family that were a harder pill to swallow

at the dinner table, greta had to listen to slurs thrown left and right at people who didn’t fit into their conservative agenda. she had to sit through an hour of her father chanting about gender roles and sickening politics that put everyone , except his own empire , at the bottom of the food chain. they knew their power and the only goal was unwavering cash flow

and that is about the only thing greta and her family had in common. her GREED. although her morals didn’t align with the values of her father , her eyes were set on the price. breaking the tradition of men owning their biggest investment and becoming the chief officer of nava pharmaceuticals. and if biting her tongue and faking a smile meant knocking the king over from the top of the food chain then.... CHEck MATE Bitch <3 

but obviously, its not easy living under pressure. especially when the reality is so far from the mask u wear to get what u want

meet greta

under that mask is a greta that is the complete opposite of what her father painted her out to be. she is independent, sometimes even selfish . she is strong and brilliant. she’s determined and ambitious . she challenges herself , she’s eager to excel, to be more than the best. she wants to surprise people with the extend of what she’s capable of. i honestly don’t think greta has even dreamed of what she wants to achieve yet ????? but she knows she has a deep yearning for it. the feeling of bliss and a peace of mind when you’ve gotten everything u worked so hard for.

unfortunately, it’s important to take time and recenter urself from time to time in the chaos of striving for perfection. greta has lost that ability and often impulsively runs off the tracks. u won’t ever see her tripping over her feet at the party but u will probably catch her lying about the amount of alcohol she had if u are sober enough to notice. she’ll let u unbutton her shirt, only if u promise not to tell. she’ll tell u she’s okay and she thinks she is even if she really isn’t 

greta was good in everything except in love. it was hard for her to entertain one night stands unless she had steam to blow off , she always had something more productive to do. she’d lie in bed and battle those thoughts, wondering if she’s only making excuses .... after all , she’s a pretty girl. but those who got to taste her cherry lips were always left with the memory they were told not to share with anyone. she would always find excuses, letting good things pass her by. she didn’t know then what was causing her scattered affection. but it was often because in order to know what u want, u can’t censor thoughts and treat them as distractions. greta has always treated romance as a distraction and consequently, she never let herself reflect on what makes her happy for too long. but, of course , sleepless nights would often lead to her having to face herself. truly. she would think about the people she considers her friends and how she hopes she doesn’t lose them in the process, she daydreams about the future and freedom to speak her mind even when the voice in her head tells her not to. and she thinks about girls..... a lot 

greta hasn’t thought about it enough to put her sexuality on a spectrum. she knows she’s dated boys and she liked it. but, it’s also the only thing she’s known. having her family instil in her brain that being attracted to the same sex is not right and knowing that she needs to play her cards right to be considered worthy of the fortune, it was settled. she would dig a hole in the ground and bury those thoughts deep down under. knowing that if her family finds out she’s been with girls or even felt attracted to them????? her dreams would be crushed and she would be lucky to still sit at the dinner table. 

she battles those thoughts and often gets caught up in them. kissing girls in places where nobody sees and keeping it a secret or turning to lying, saying they’re pathetic for falling for it. basically being a shitty person because she knows there is no way she could ever get away with it??? safe to say, having to feel guilty for the things u cannot change, doesn’t make her the happiest kid on the playground and with knowing how word travels fast, it makes her paranoid to even consider risking her future for that. she continues to strive for perfection instead of wholeness :/

on a lighter note.... she obviously studies pharmaceutical sciences. she sees a future for the company that her father fails to acknowledge. her father doesn’t know it but she aims to take the empathic route and use her fortune for a better cause.. to help make healthcare accessible for all. she’s got the fattttttest heart i tell u and believes in good karma. 

i said this in the app and ill say it again........... Loves cheese bread. honestly bribe her with cheesy bread i dare u. it will work (  almost always )

runs track.... Just as good at this one as she is in running away from all her problems. Stellar performance

reads those motivational books.. ( yup. those ) 

studies hard. really will study all night and fall asleep with a notepad on her face and highlighter stain on her forehead. again, anywhere where she has to compete for first place, she will do anything to get that first place. and if she doesnt ???????? shes a thunderstorm. angry music plays in the background. she storms off. lips pursed. and takes days to recover 

really loves mysteries. and crosswords. the process of figuring out how to get from point a to point b... thats greta. 

and if she doesnt focus and set boundaries in her head, she doesnt know where to finish. she is the most Opinionated bitch. like she has a strong opinion about everything. even whether tomato is a fruit or vegetable. like she knows its a vegetable. Ok? 

she’s the biggest know it all!!!!!! she won’t ever shake on anything and if it comes to it, she will stand by her words until she’s thought about it in her bed for days ( even made a list of rights and wrongs to weigh out how truly “””””’wrong””””” she is ) it’s hard for her to back down. of course.... she definitely is wrong sometimes even if she claims otherwise </3

it's  safe  to  say  that  cillian  grew  up  in  his  brother's  shadow  ;  although  he  was  an  intelligent  kid  ,  he  never  quite  had  the  same  edge  as  his  brother  -  an  arguable  child  genius  .  the  attention  and  affection  he  didn't  gain  from  his  parents  ,  however  ,  was  gained  by  his  peers  .  jeffrey  had  grown  up  under  a  strict  ,  watchful  eye  -  whereas  cillian  had  been  able  to  roam  much  more  freely  .  he  had  the  one  skill  that  jeffrey  lacked  -  charisma  .  

in  a  strange  way  ,  as  the  two  grew  ,  cillian  took  on  the  role  as  the  leader  .  in  their  teens  he'd  help  jeffrey  sneak  out  to  parties  ,  or  slip  some  vodka  into  his  drink  while  their  father's  gaze  was  turned  .  

the  older  he  got,  the  more  cillian  had  to  fight  and  claw  his  way  to  find  a  thrill  .  eventually  he  turned  to  drugs  ,  and  of  course  drug  jeffrey  with  him  .  the  difference  ?  cillian  didn't  grow  to  depend  &  could  leave  the  drugs  at  the  party  ,  whereas  his  brother  would  grow  to  become  extremely  reliant  .  fast  forward  to  present  day  ,  and  jeffrey  is  nowhere  to  be  found  -  along  with  a  hearty  portion  of  the  kowalski  family  fund  &  a  deeply  rooted  drug  dependency  that  cillian  feels  largely  responsible  for  .

          although  his  parents  wanted  him  to  go  to  college  for  business  or  law  (  as  expected  )  ,  christian  has  always  been  a  bit  more  on  the  side of  helping  those  who  are  less  fortunate  than  him  .  his  parents  have  multiple  foundations  that  they  support  ,  but  there  were  plenty  of  nights  where  they’d  come  home  from  galas  complaining  about  the  rigorous  work  that  went  into  charities  as  well  as  ensuring  that  their  money  went  where  it  was  supposed  to  .  thus  ,  that  explains  why  christian  is  majoring  in  chemistry  with  the  intent  of  becoming  a  registered  nurse  .  he  knows  that  his  parents  wouldn’t  be  happy  with  him  pursuing  such  a  career  choice  ,  especially  when  he  wants  to  travel  around  the  world  for  humanitarian  aid  --  his  parents  are  extremely  selfish  despite  their  outward  appearances  (  and  his  mom  constantly  telling  the  story  of  when  she  was  younger  and  living  in  poverty  in  bangkok  )  .

so  christian’s  secret  is  that  he’s  currently  going  through  the  process  of  getting  emancipated  from  his  parents  .  he  is  going  the  route  of  implied  emancipation  ,  where  he  has  left  home  and  been  self - sufficient  for  a  number  of  months  (  i . e .  going  off  to  college  )  .  the  reason  why  he’s  been  self - sufficient  is  because  of  a  sizable  inheritance  he  obtained  at  eighteen  years  old  (  rounding  to  about  $20m  )  and  he  has  another  one  that  he’s  supposed  to  get  upon  turning  twenty - five  (  at  the  amount  of  $80m  )  .

chris  lives  in  an  off - campus  apartment  ,  not  too  far  from  campus  .  it’s  about  ten  minutes  away  in  west  hollywood  .

he  has  two  great  loves  in  his  life  :  his  bentley  bentayga  and  kawasaki  zx - 6r  .  most  of  the  time  he  drives  his  car  ,  but  he  likes  to  pull  out  the  motorcycle  every  now  and  then  .

ok so funny story !!! i started writing this out , and then i kept writing ... and writing ... and writing ... and then my “ intro ” turned into a whole ass “ biography ” for my boy cooper so !! you can find that Novel right here ( the end is still a work in progress tho ) . below will be my attempt at the spark notes version of it all , although i can almost guarantee it will still get out of hand because i , like our lord and saviour jenna marbles , cannot control my too much gene !!!!

so our boy cooper is the older brother to our fav twins , summer and wynter averna ! together , the three of them are the youngest generation of the averna family . powerful , renowned , and manipulative — the avernas are made up of a long line of successful politicians . currently , daddy johnathan averna is the governor of california , and this heavy legacy has weighed upon cooper’s shoulders for the majority of his life .

in short , cooper is best described as the black sheep of the averna family . while his other family members are power - hungry , manipulative , and thick - skinned , cooper could be described as weak - willed , personable , and charming . this was a major disappointment to his father , john , because he’d been hoping for a son that would follow in his footsteps and grow up to make incredible moves in politics , but cooper couldn’t have been further from what a politician should be , and this caused for a severe lack of affection and validation from his parents on cooper’s part .

at school , however , cooper filled these holes with the popularity he gained within the halls of his private school . everyone wanted to be his friend and the affection and compassion that he lacked at home was made up for by his large circle of friends . but unfortunately , things were not as picture - perfect as they seemed , and in his sophomore year of high school , cooper discovered that his girlfriend had been hooking up with his best friend and in an extreme domino effect , cooper learned that the “ friends ” he’d surrounded himself with were just as power - hungry and manipulative as his own family and were using him for the sole purpose of gaining popularity and getting a taste of the prestige cooper’s surname promised . 

but cooper here is far too soft and desperate for affection , and his fear of loneliness far outweighed his desire to have meaningful relationships so he couldn’t bare to actually cut those who’d been using him out of his life . so instead , cooper found himself diving deep into bel air’s party scene , the adrenaline and excitement of it distracting him from the fact that everyone around him didn’t really give two shits about him .

cooper’s partying kind of snowballed from there . long story short , his parents literally never noticed that cooper had even an inkling of a problem , which further distanced him from his family . and as soon as cooper was eighteen , he booked a one - way ticket to europe to do what he does best : run away from his issues and drown them out with alcohol and drugs . 

he really just wanted to escape the weight of his surname and putting as much distance between himself and the spotlight that followed him constantly seemed like his best bet . and for about a year , it really worked for him . he bounced around europe , discovered its beauty and culture , and partied day in and day out , all while forgetting the legacy he’d left behind and finding what he wanted to : music — but we’ll get to that later .

but just short of a year , cooper got caught up in a drunken brawl in amsterdam that left him with a concussion and broken hand . luckily , daddy came to the rescue after a phone call from cooper and john paid off everyone involved in order to keep the story under wraps , but under one condition : cooper return home to bel air and attend university to hopefully clean up his act and get a degree .

cooper started at hollingsworth as a business major , but that didn’t work out as easily as he’d been hoping and he was just barely scraping by at the end of his sophomore year . however , when he was home for the summer , cooper rediscovered his love for music upon finding the belongings of his that had been shoved away by his parents two years prior , and he made the switch to majoring in music production when he returned to hollingsworth for his junior year .

his parents still do not know about his change in major , for cooper knows they wouldn’t believe it’s a viable career path for him to take and he also has an innate fear of disappointing them . he’s got some severe daddy issues , having always desperately craved the validation of his father but always lacking it because his dad only believed in only one possible future for his son : carrying on the averna legacy in politics . cooper realizes that it’s ridiculous , and that he is more than free to do what he wants and brush off his parents’ judgements , but that is a lot easier said than done unfortunately .

to briefly touch on his music : cooper’s voiceclaim is sir sly — edgy , emo , electronic alternative music . he’s incredibly passionate about his music , often spending many late nights in hollingsworth’s recording studios . he taught himself to play guitar while in europe , but upon enrolling in hworth’s music program has learned how to play the drums , keyboard , and properly project his vocals . he’s also gained experience in mixing and producing music , of which he mostly does himself with his own music . currently , he has one released album ( you haunt me ) , but is working on his next one ( don’t you worry , honey ) already .

in  a  nutshell  :  basically , cooper’s an enigma at first glance . he has a mysterious aura to him : his gaze is shielded , his voice quiet , and his posture reclusive . he often prefers to keep to himself in unfamiliar situations at first until he gets a feel for the atmosphere , and the way he’s usually hunkered over a journal definitely screams “ leave me alone . ” the walls he built around himself in high school remain strong , because he knows he’s far too soft - hearted for his own good . overly eager to protect everyone he meets and show others the love and compassion he desperately craves for himself , he’s a walking contradiction in the way that he puts distance between himself and others , fearful of letting them too close , lest it be revealed that they’re only using him for his elite legacy and his heart be broken once again , but his need for attention and companionship has made him incredibly skilled at making you feel like there’s little to no distance separating him from you , distracting you from realizing that you actually know very little about him with his infectious smile and exciting presence . everyone’s a friend of cooper’s , at least on the outside . but if you’re lucky enough to actually wiggle through a crack in his walls , you’ll find a heart far larger than expected , a passion for music that he’s eager to share with others , and a protectiveness for his loved ones that is reminiscent of the brother you always wanted .

it’s no secret that cooper loves to party — he’s all over hworth’s party scene , often one of the first to call for a round of shots on a night out — but what is a secret is cooper’s addiction to drugs , specifically but not limited to cocaine . 

upon his return to bel air , one of the promises he’d made to his family was that he’d stop using and beat the addiction that had haunted him . the news of cooper’s addiction was the last thing his father wanted to get leaked to the public , fearful for his own reputation as a clean , respected public figure if his own son had fallen prey to drugs . and for a while , cooper was able to bury his addiction and avoid his kryptonite while at parties — but as school became more stressful he found it increasingly difficult to continue to do so , and one night someone offered a line to cooper after a particularly stressful exam and he gave in , and the flood gates opened .

when he was younger and first entering the party scene , cooper had almost openly flaunted his drug use , probably as a cry for help to his seemingly clueless parents , but since relapsing he’s learned how to keep it behind closed doors . only a fair few know of his drug use and cooper will go to any length to keep it that way .

also !!! i feel like i need to address the topic of cooper’s hair , because many of the resources that i will be using of austin have him with blond with long and shaggy hair , but cooper’s hair is actually what austin’s is right now : dark and cut short . but to kinda explain the photos of blond!austin , cooper actually bleached his hair and grew it out whilst travelling in europe as another act of defiance towards his family and to distance himself from his past self . over the past summer , though , he cut it short and dyed it back to his natural brunet , purely an impulse decision TBH , but also probably a weird metaphor for how he initially went blond to distance himself from his legacy , but now that he’s pursuing a career that really distances him from it , he went back to brunet as his own fucked up way of still trying to appease his parents’ fucked up expectations .
