AUTHOR'S NOTE ≕ Sunghoon and Snow! what could be better? I wanted to make something sfw somewhere in this huge project. So here I give you the cutest morning in the snow. Enjoy! Tune in tomorrow for day 6 at 10pm!

You blinked blearily as the first light of the morning poured through the window and down over you.

Sunghoon's arms were wrapped around your waist, warmth extended off his body and onto you. His head was snuggled into the crook of your shoulders, and you smiled listening to his soft snores. You pushed closer to him when a cold rush of air passed through the room. If Sunghoon wasn't so darn cute when he was sleeping you'd slap him awake and complain how he stole all the blankets through the freezing night.

It was your second time visiting Korea with Sunghoon. He had lived here his whole life, but when he moved for work, you were lucky it was only ten minutes away from you. You could see how much he missed it here. His entire life in such a small part of the world. You knew immediately a trip had to be planned. He was beaming ear to ear when you told him. Most of the day was spent catching up with his family. Your Korean wasn't the best, but his mom gushed as you spoke. You blushed, embarrassed. His sister accompanied the two of you on a stroll through Seoul and showed you the best coffee shop in the entire country. By the time night rolled around, you ate at an exclusive restaurant where he bumped into a few of his childhood friends and you got to see him happy and genuine. Midnight hit, and he stumbled a drunk you back to the small apartment he still owned.

With the sun positioning its rays right into your eyes, it was difficult to go back to sleep. You tugged on one end of the blanket and pulled until it enraptured you as well. You felt Sunghoon stir behind you and shivered when his chilly breath fanned your ear.

"Top of the morning to you," He greeted in the worst Irish accent ever. He laughed at your dull expression to his sarcasm, his voice groggy. He closed his eyes and opened his arms wider to catch you in a hug. His chin rested on the top of your head. He hummed slightly and you felt it vibrate in your hair.

"How come you stole all the blankets?" You asked. It was muffled into his chest and the sweatshirt he wore to bed. He apologized in tiny, so soft that you could barely hear it.

"You're not thought," you remarked back.

He laughed. "Nope, I'm not."

You yanked yourself out of his arms, but his grasp was strong and pulled you back with an annoyed whine. His fingers traced up and down your spine, drawing out little shapes into the skin on your back. "Aren't my hands warm enough for you?"

Yes, his hands were warm, they felt like mini heaters on your back, but you weren't going to let him win this. "You're trying to distract me from the fact that you're a blanket hogger."

"It wasn't working?" He asked, his voice full of cockiness.

You were surprised by his high-pitched squeak when you snuck your icy hands under his sweatshirt. Everywhere on Sunghoon was warm, like a fire was burning within him. Your cold hands melted within seconds.

"Hands off fast stuff," He joked. You shook your head and flattened them onto his ticklish sides. You jabbed and tickled until his giggled played out in your ears. You fall into contentment hearing them. He was able to grab your hands in time before the both of you fell off the bed.

You loved to lay with him in utter silence. It was something so enthralling about it. The way he fell at your side and you his.

it was silence for a while before Sunghhon stood up. "Where are you going?" You whined. He didn't answer. Instead, he looked out of the top window in awe.

You asked him what over and over again and no answer. He just gave you a wide grin and rushed you out of bed and into the bathroom. You both got ready quickly, with Sunghoon urging you to be faster. You wanted to stare out of the window, but he wouldn't allow you to. Even on the way to the kitchen, his hands were in front of your eyes as he popped in your needed vitamin gummies.

You kept your eyes closed like he requested as he dressed you. First, it was a scarf and then a giant jacket. By that time, you knew the revelation, but didn't want to spoil his "big surprise". You grinned when you knew he wasn't looking.

"And can't forget these," snug gloves enclosed around your fingers. "And this," then a snug beanie.

You heard him open the front door and your eyes pop open. The front of his small apartment was covered in blankets of snow. It swirled from above so delicately to meet the ground. Everything within viewing was painted in white.

A bubble of warmth expanded in your chest seeing how wide and bright his smile was. He was so thrilled to show you the snow. He wiggled his fingers in the air as if to add effects to his surprise.

He was so cute. His purple ear muffs matched the scarf and gloves. He wore the puffer jacket that his mom gave him for his birthday along with the matching couple hats he bought for last year's anniversary. So cheesy, yet you loved it.

"Come on!" You grabbed his fuzzy hands in yours and followed him into the newfound winter wonderland. It was supposed to be another two weeks before the predicted snowfall. Sunghoon always looked forward to it. More than he looked forward to anything else. He watched the weather like it was a series. He was upset when he thought you booked your trip two weeks before its downpour. He still packed warm clothes just in case. So when his face lit up the way it did, you knew. It was like a child's on Christmas morning.

"Wow," you breathed, taking in the bigger picture: the perfect snowflakes falling onto your clothes, trees powdered in a light coat of snow, the way the sun glistened through like a picture-perfect portrait.

"Welcome to winter in Korea!" He gleamed. He bounced and almost fell over when his boots sunk into the deep snow.

You put your hands on his jacket and tugged until he realized you wanted a kiss. He pulled you in his arms for a more proper kiss and you melted into a hum of pleasure against his lips.

you were breathless when he pulled away. "How is it that you look thirty times cuter in the snow?" He grinned.

He laughed as you spun in the circle to add on to his dramatic comment. when you went to stop, snowflakes had caught onto your eyelashes and the view of him was blurry but you knew he had taken out his phone to snap pics.

You walked back up to him and gave his rosy cheek a peck. "Thanks-"

"Catch me if you can!" He rushed out, running away. It disoriented you so much that he had to call out to you once more and then you set off in a run after him.

It was hard to run through it. At one point, you're sure that Sunghoon slowed down to help you out. But he was dumb to deceive your talent. You saw him and barreled toward him, knocking him down into the sea of white. Your frosted nose touched his.

"Got you," you panted out of breath, watching it fade into the air.

"Not for long," he beamed. he flipped you off like it was nothing and was back on the run. You sat there, hating how much endurance this human being had.

He giggled when he saw you still sitting.

"Giving up?" you fell back into the snow and replied, "Too tired."

You could hear the crunch of his boots in the snow walking closer. "Awe come on, that's not like you," he complained.

"Your right," you commented. You formed your hand into a ball and shape the snow into an awkward sphere. You quickly got up from your spot on the ground and Sunghoon narrowed his eyes. He quickly gathered his own handful of snow and tossed it in your direction. You dodged on time.

"I see how it is now!" it sounded out as a warning.

A wicked smile crept up your face. and as fast pace as you could, you'd throw the snowball and simultaneously be building the next one in the other hand. You dove behind trees and parked cars, you felt a little childish, but you don't let it take you out of the moment. Seeing him so bright and cheerful, you the same.

You stared after him, blinking away the snowflakes building on your eyelids yet again. You peeked from behind the car to call out to him, "Did my snowball of fury scare off Mr. Park?"

You watched him giggle and pitched his snowball directly toward you. You quickly dodge behind his car and watch it hit the trunk and shower down.

You threw your snowball and watched it sail straight towards him. it hit his chest in a loud crash sound and you cheer in victory. Your first hit!

"Come on all-time figure skater! You should know better than me!"

"This is snow, not ice!" He scoffed and brushed the snow from his coat. He threw a few more your way, but you blocked each one. After two more hits on him, he called out a truce.

"Sure! The first game I have officially won." You bragged.

Sunghoon placed his hand in yours and pulled you closer. "I let you win that. You're adorable when you get competitive." You hit his shoulder playfully. a plow of snow fell off in your face as revenge.

He helped you dust it off and you gazed in his eyes and melted in their sparkle. You looked at him in the same way and he leaned down to kiss you. His lips were cold, even a little chapped, but still, it warmed your shivering body. His hands snaked around your back and pushed the kiss deeper.

"Let's make snow angels," He whispered. So you both walked to find a spot in the snow that you both didn't ruin.

Once it was found, you both laid down, still for a while, just holding hands and feeling his thumb trace over your knuckles.

After a while, you felt him wiggle in the snow and you followed. You got up and peered down at the disfigured shape in the snow, but still, Sunghoon grabbed his phone and took pictures. He took more of you and the both of him. You both took your gloves off to print them in the snow and initial. After that, your fingers went numb, and you were ready to go in.

You nudged his arm and he knew. But he stopped you before walking in. "Wait, I want one more photo," he walked to his car and placed it upright. He clicked the 10 seconds timer and jogged back to you.

You weren't sure what to do, but he dipped you down in a kiss and you felt like you were in a scene. Being held by the man you loved the most in the most over-exaggerated kiss he could've ever drawn up. He kept kissing you even when you knew the photo was over, and a part of your heart pounded in response.

Sunghoon pulled away and cleared his throat. "I love you," it slipped out with no hesitation.

You grinned, looking up at that perfect human being. "I love you too."
