Swaziland

Um unser Ziel: Sodwana Bay an der Ostküste Südafrikas zu erreichen, durchquerten wir das Königreich “Swaziland”. Anders wie in Europa gibt es hier noch richtige Grenzübergänge mit Passkontrollen. Man stellt sein Auto ab, geht ins Office rein, bekommt einen Ausreisestempel, steigt ins Auto ein fährt 10 Meter bis man wieder aussteigt, ins Office geht und einen Einreisestempel bekommt ;)

Unsere Autofahrt durch Swaziland erwies sich als sehr abenteuerlich… Berg hoch, Berg runter.. dann stehen plötzlich Menschen auf der Straße.. oder riesige Schlaglöcher sind vor einem.. oder und was ich echt das beeindruckenste fande, eine Kuh findet das Gras auf der rechten Straßen Seite nicht mehr so gut und wechselt einfach mal die Straßenseite (manchmal noch mit der ganzen Herde) um links weiter zu grasen:D

Es war schon dunkel als wir über eine holprige Schotterpiste unser Wildlife Resort erreichten (auf dem Weg zu unser Hüttchen kreuzten dann noch Zebras unseren weg).

Am nächsten Morgen standen ein paar grasende Inyalas (Antilopenart) vor unserem Hüttchen, eines schaute sogar neugierig zum Fenster hinein :D

Nach einer einstündigen Horsebacksafari (so cool!) traten wir unsere Weitereise an und kamen nach 7 Stunden endlich in Sodwana Bay an.
