Detroit style pizza! Tonights meal was loaded with a locally made brick cheese, pepperoni and @mezzetta pizza sauce. I made the dough earlier today and I suck at it! It didn’t rise. Im not sure I want to try anymore and buy it. I’ve tried for years and it sucks every time. Im out, lol. The pizza wasn’t too bad though! Pizza night on the @alfaovens 5 Minuti! I tried a new flatbread this evening made with 00 flour from @bredinbk. I still managed to burn the edges a little, haha. I need to practice more. The toppings in the mix tonight are @hillshirefarm pepperoni, @farmlandfoods bacon, @mariofoods black olives, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, @californiasundry sun dried tomatoes, @muttipomodorousa pizza sauce and @crystalfarmscheese whole milk mozzarella. Pizza night! It’s been months since we’ve used our @alfaovens because of the snow and cold weather. This evening we were able to get it fired up and make ten pizzas! The toppings we had to pick from were pepperoni, black olives, mushrooms, asparagus, prosciutto, red onion, Roma tomato, basil, whole mozzarella, shredded whole milk mozzarella and feta. Good eats!! I feel like I do the dough differently every time and it turned out great, but burned a bit because I didn’t have enough 00 flour and had to sub in AP. I had the @alfaforni.official Minuti 5 running between 750-900 for the first 5 pizzas. Pizza night on the @alfaovens Minuti 5! It might be small, but it’s mighty! I love this thing. We made four pizzas with various toppings. The dough was made with Caputo Red 00 flour, sea salt, olive oil, yeast and water. I cooked these at 650 degrees.
