Do you ever play around with extremely self-indulgent aus? Just for fun.

I've been toying with an IDW au that has Rodimus as Prime and Megatron as his Primal Consort. Mostly for the mental image of Megatron lounging on fabrics, which obviously would have to be imported from off-world, thus expensive. Golden jewellery. Paint, which totally could be made with like crushed ruby for extra opulence. And this time, the paint isn't limited to his face.

But also because of the size difference. Let the big scary mech be the pampered consort for once!

And that sounds interesting! Especially with Rodimus's whole ~energy~ (which changes slightly upon working with different continuities), how Megs would become the Primal Consort, how does the Primal setup work here?

Is there a Primal Vanguard? A High Lord Protector to cover the military stuff? Just how involved is the religious aspect of it, or is being a Prime more of a political or civilian position? Are we rolling with your typical "person + matrix in chest = prime" situation, or another answer. Do the responsibilities of a Primal Consort range, or are they rather succinct? Are there any requirements to the situation such as marriage, proof of the dynamic being consummated, promise of heirs, ect? Hierarchy stuff? How formal/casual does Rodimus play this, or does it vary? What was the situation that lead to Rodimus becoming a Prime?

Worldbuilding wise, fluff wise, and smut wise, there is so much to work with here.
