Thinking abt how in lazy in space bee was raised on video games that taught her how to spell, defend herself, etc and how the cooking game we saw deckard play congratulates him even after he burns the cake, and how much that might play into why bee is the way she is

#ramblings of a lunatic #we obviously don't know why bee's dad used the games to teach her these things or even if the games were for her only #but i think it's interesting #bees character is all abt a fear of growing up that puts her in a state of arrested development (proportional to her age. which is old)#how she doesn't think she's good at anything and never pushes herself to try at the beginning of the series #how a game that tells you you did a good job no matter how bad you beefed it and bees refusal to accept responsibility #how the game says ''as long as we're together we can do anything'' (paraphrased) and abt how bees dad isn't there anymore #abt how baby bee cries when puppycat leaves in the lis episode 1 flashback and how lonely she must've been #especially after her dad left #and how that plays into her decision to encourage deckard to leave because she feels like she's holding him back #how she's been there for deckard his whole life in lis. like. yknow. her dad was for her (not that they're relationship is parent/child-#-just that there's a parallel)#hmmm #this show is good. please give me a second season netflix
