Today's learning, 07/05/23
I am back with another learning of today. Today, I realised about one of my stupid habit which had wasted lots of my time. I hadn't seperated incidence and learning part in this blog. Let me tell you what I had realised:-
I was taking my lunch at afternoons and for me eating means a break. Thus, I started watching reels on my sister's phone and I remember one reel came of a savage reply. After watching that reel what I started doing is to imagining that reel on myself. I start imagining that I said this dialogue or whatever showed in that reel. And I wondered in my imagination that lots of people is laughing at my joke. After that, I scrolled 30-40 reels and I was following the same imagining process. While thinking all this, I stopped eating my food. I wasted many hours. I was doing all this unconsciously. Now, when I am analysing my day. I realised that I was doing this. Then, I start researching and got to know that this had now become a very big issue of modern world. I also came to know about why peoples get addicted to reel. It's because they start imagining themselves at the creator's place and like me they are also not aware what they were doing because they never analyse their day. This habit will destroy your ability to focus. It will ruin your internal peace. Talking to yourself make you and your mind calm and free. But this type of fake imagination motivates a person to not work and it also brings ego in people. If you are underestimating this habit. So, let me tell you the destructive long term effects of this habit:-
1. After getting addicted to this habit, you will start imagining whole day. This will lead to bad performances at every social participation. You will completely take shelter in your comfort zone.
2. Thinking whole day will drain your energy and you will feel tired and sleepy whole day.
3. This will built unnecessary ego and attitude.
4. You will never feel like to do anything. You are not aware that how your day went. It also brings forgetting issue. You will forget tiny things because you were not active.
The list is endless, I had mentioned some most common one's. This habit will be on peak when you enter in your bathroom especially while taking shower and also at night when you try to sleep. The people who are in this thinking loop will imagine back to back incidents. This will never stop buddy. So, What's the solution:-
Solution:- Solution is a habit which is try to be aware of what you are doing. Just completely indulge yourself into present moment such as when you are walking, watch your foot, try not to think anything else. This is like a active meditation and it is a very beneficial exercise which can also be done when you are not in this type of thinking loop. This habit will bring massive change in your life. It will improve your concentration power. Trust me you are going to become modern Buddha or Swami Vivekananda.
