Like last year with Hogwarts Legacy, I did an AW, for it was by then at its peak. So, now I'm back on my stuff again for this new year 2023 with Magic Awakened.

HPMA Appreciation Week 2023 → Day 5: Creator Appreciation

@cursebreakerfarrier → Your characters are incredible and Camila’s and Ben’s stories wouldn’t be the same without Jasper and Poppy in their lives. Your art is incredible and your aesthetics are always amazing, too.

@gaygryffindorgal → Your edits (both gifs and not) are incredible. Your characters are all so interesting and different. Nova came into Nate’s story at a perfect moment and he wouldn’t be the same without her.

@kc-and-co → First off, Jack wouldn’t exist without Sage and I’d be missing one reckless Slytherin if I hadn’t let Jack spring up. Your writing is incredible and I adored all the little glimpses into Sage and Nova throughout the previous year.

@thatravenpuffwitch → Your characters and everything you do with them are great. Noa was the perfect addition to Thea’s story, while Rylie and Pat are one reason that I actually let Declan O’Donnell-Lee move from fankid to full fledged OC.

@potionboy3 → Your videos are incredible. The big HPMA one with the scenes of Nate & Finn and Nate x Nova living in my head. Plus, you are so good at creating the gray-type characters.

HPMA Appreciation Week 2023 → Day 4: Favorite Ship That Isn’t Mine

𝐉𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐱 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡

→ They’ve got that sunshine x grumpy vibe that I adore, and it’s different than some of the other sunshine x grumpy ships in Magic Awakened. @cursed-herbalist’s Christmas story with them is what really got me. It was adorable and so very sweet. From what I’ve seen so far, they’re such a fun ship that’s so different yet so familiar. @cursed-herbalist & @potionboy3

HPMA Appreciation Week 2023 → Day 2: Favorite OCs That Aren’t Mine

𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐲

→ Nate’s girl. She’s such a darling and my favorite HPMA Slytherin. She’s such a good complement for Nate. I love the complications in her story and the coincidental similarities between her life and Nate’s. She’s just a darling and has really helped to make Nate’s (and by extension, Finn’s) story come into a clearer focus, especially with some of the upcoming changes. She may not have been there from the start, but I love her and she’s such a good fit for Nate. @gaygryffindorgal

𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧

→ Jack’s girl. Probably Thea’s best friend. Benedict’s sister in every way but blood. Sage is one of a kind, hell bent on schedules, which makes her a brilliant complement for fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants Jack. Sage is the first in a series of Ravenclaw HPMA girls that I adore and the Whittens just wouldn’t be the same without her. @kc-and-co

𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤

→ Benedict’s girl. Poppy is the second in the series of Ravenclaw girls that I adore. She’s the one who first truly gets beyond all of Ben’s walls and she’s a sweetheart. I love her, she’s just amazing and I can’t wait to see more of her! @cursebreakerfarrier (I also want to give a shout-out to Jasper because he’s one of the best MA professors and Camila’s favorite guy!)

𝐍𝐨𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡

→ Thea’s girl. Noa is great. I love all of her story and her relationship with Thea. I love that she becomes a quidditch player and all of her little details, as they’re all so interesting. I love her friendship with Poppy and Sage and am very amused by the way that all three Ravenclaw girls end up with a Whitten. She may be the newest to this little crew, but she’s one of my favorite Ravenclaw girls.. @thatravenpuffwitch (I’ll also offer a small shout-out to Rylie and Pat, who were part of why I ended making Declan O’Donnell-Lee a full-fledged OC.)

𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤

→ Declan’s girl. She’s such a darling and I love her backstory, it’s quite unique. I love her relationship with Declan and the ways in which their futures influence one another. She’s such a fun character and I love her. She may be the newest to my crew of HPMA love interests, but Callie is so great. @mjs-oc-corner

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚-𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐞

→ It felt appropriate to include a Hufflepuff (and a boy) as I haven’t focused much on that with this. So, after thinking on it and even with him being fairly new, Hermes still stands out as quite the interesting character. He also seems to be a great combination of his parents. @slytherindisaster

𝐆𝐰𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞

→ Gwen is such an interesting character, with all of her different interests. I like how all of her hobbies are all quite similar, yet different. She’s a very interesting character, with an interesting backstory and family. Plus Hufflepuffs are always some of the best characters. @magicallymalted

𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞

→ He was probably my first introduction to your characters and he’s quite an interesting one. I love his name (unsurprisingly, as I also have a kiddo named Declan who is also a Slytherin). I also love his faceclaim, which I’m also using but with a set of identical twin HPHL fankids. He’s got one of the most unique storylines amongst HPMA and he’s quite unique in general. I’m also not quite sure why, but he gives me similar vibes to my Lynch boys, like his vibe is a combination of Cillian’s and Tadhg’s, which is very interesting. @potionboy3

HPMA Appreciation Week 2023 → Day 1: Favorite OCs of Mine

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 “𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐞” 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐞

→ My OG HPMA kiddo and Hufflepuff boy. He’s changed a lot since his inception about two years ago. A new ship, three brothers, career changes, backstory changes. He’s still not perfect and rather underdeveloped, but when I think of my HPMA OCs, he pops up quickly. He’s just so *clutches shirt.* Nate was my first HPMA kiddo to stick around, as before him, I’d had multiple attempts at HPMA OCs. He’s probably my softest boy and I love the new complexities that have sprung up for him.

𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐎’𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐋𝐞𝐞

→ My newest HPMA and first next gen OC. The eldest son of Sara O’Donnell and Barnaby Lee, Declan came as a bit of a surprise. He popped up with a complication for his life and a faceclaim and never left. I love the way that he’s sort of an outsider amongst his siblings. He’s not overly interested in creatures and animals. He’s the token straight sibling. His passion is quidditch and he struggles with dyslexia. His internal conflict was influenced by the internal conflict in Benedict Bridgerton during his love story. Fun fact: I once attempted to make Declan (under a different name & faceclaim) a HPMA OC a while ago, probably summer 2020 when I was first experimenting with the idea of HPMA OCs. He didn’t stick until somewhat recently, though, and the only thing that has been constant is Slytherin, being born in 2001, and going pro for quidditch with the position of seeker.

HPMA Appreciation Week 2023 → Day 3: Favorite Ships of Mine

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐱 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐲

→ What can I say about Nate and Nova beyond that I love everything about them. The way that Nate’s sunshiney and dealing with his own grief and issues while Nova’s grumpy and brooding is just *chef’s kiss,* especially because it’s usually the other way around. Their faceclaims and all of the material they have together. I love all of their little similarities and differences, even though we haven’t spent much time on the details of their love story. (Which, if the MacKades ever cooperate and let me finish their profiles, I’d love to go into more depth with the details of their story.) @gaygryffindorgal

𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐱 𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧

→ In some ways, Jage is my most developed shared ship and I absolutely adore their story. The planner and the go-with-the-flow type. They complement one another quite well and teach each other different types. Sage doesn’t let Jack’s recklessness push her away, while Jack doesn’t let Sage forget to take of care of herself. They’re able to get through one another’s walls and I just adore them. I also love their first meeting with mistaken identity because it’s a bit chaotic and does both their characters justice. @kc-and-co
