was thinking about haikyuu vs blue lock in terms of sports mangas and hq is just the better one to me. like the premise is more relatable in terms of like. everything (the whole. locked facility with no access to the outside world and they aren’t all going insane is crazy in blue lock). plus their losses in hq really mean something. becuase igasi can’t meaningfully lose in blue lock cause otherwise he’ll be kicked out. so you know he’ll eventually win or whatever. but in hq you aren’t ever actually sure!!! and also hq makes me wonder if i shouldn’t have stopped playing team sports in high school as well. and makes me want to pick up some kind of sport again
