i never thought we would have a canon bi4bi couple on a disney show, but that day has come and i’m so happy.

EJ was so adorable and happy for the majority of the episode, he was having the time of his life and starting his perfect summer.

Now he's been burdened with directing the "first ever" community production of the Broadway version of Frozen and Ricky's gonna steal (back?) Gina from him.

Bless EJ's little heart, all he wanted was to be a kid and be sappy with his girlfriend.

This episode was so good for him, he's so dorky and excited and i love him sm.

I also noticed how his face lights up every time he sees Gina, how he's so in love. It's definitely a different stare than the one he gave Nini, this one seems like he's deeper in love, somehow. Either way, I'm so psyched to be getting my babies back 🥲🥲

Also i kinda cringed at Jet's character a little, he seems like a depth-less Angsty Teen Number 1™️, but i do hope they develop him more throughout the season.

Also i want them to explain why Big Red & Seb weren't able to come, i'm guessing it's money related but i still want to hear it. I do love how they mentioned them, and how ashlyn was so cute about mailing Red every day 🥺

Really hoping we won't get a Ricky/Gina/EJ love triangle though it'd be amazing if EJ turns out to be hating Ricky for being so close to Gina just to find out that Ricky's actually into EJ.

Also I still hate Nini, luckily her scenes won't add anything to the story so I don't feel bad for skipping those for once.

Okay so far I’m liking this season more than season 2 but still not as much as season 1. I’m still not 100% sure where they are planning to go with each of the characters but I’m hopeful we’ll get some good arcs. Ricky seems to be coming into his own a bit more this season and I’m loving it. I am also absolutely DYING over the portwell content. I’ve shipped them since the end of season 1 and I’m so happy to see them happy and together. I’m very interested to see where everything is going to go. And to see who gets cast as what roles

this is my favorite type of first kiss. pulling someone in for a rushed, brief kiss then pulling away to gauge their response. the moment of silence where they're just staring at each other wondering if that really happened because they did it and can't take it back. then other other person pulling them back in and kissing them with every ounce of passion they have. then the prolonged eye contact once they've parted because yes, it's real. yes, they like you and you like them back. it's poetic. it's beautiful.
