what is your muse’s favorite spell and why?

Aparecium and its vise versa. As someone who depicts journalism on the daily, this specific spell was the first she learned between her and her mother. It became easy to pass secret notes between the two witches or .. during class if necessary. Yuna has always been on the more mischievous side when it came to small things such as so. Why wouldn’t a spell to reveal or write in magical invisible ink not be something high on her list?

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

Best? Oh her best trait is that lovely mouth influencing others with honey. She’s intelligent with her words of comfort or push to sway. As if she were created to be able to convert someone’s thoughts to her own. A wonderful trait for a witch looking to join law/public affairs. It is only a shame that her worst shows when that positive talent is utilized for her own taste in drama and entertainment. A gossip queen in her own way.

wf your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why? 

“Power.” The word rolled off her tongue with ease. The answer was simple. She had already lived a life of wealth and comfortability, a diamond spoon feeding her since the beginning of memory. On the opposite hand, though, happiness is not considered necessity. As happiness comes with the development and gain of power.

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it? 

An adaptation to another universe would list itself at the top. Yuna was raised with muggles, and by a muggle. She even attended their schools, learned their education, became entangled with them unlike most wizarding-folk. She still remembers what it felt like, how hard it was to breathe, to enter the city and see nothing but magic surrounding her wake. It was ground breaking- world changing. She felt alone for the first time. “It took me a few weeks to fall asleep without a charm.”Over time she had to learn how to adapt. After all, it was her that begged her dear mother for this opportunity in the first place.

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why? 

She’d never admit it. Yet the girl could only dream of floating through the skies like a phoenix dedicated to loyalty and service. Freedom, with meaning. Freedom, with an entitlement for something bigger than itself. "A cat. Who wouldn’t want to be a cat?”

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life? 

“The half-blood that changed law on the connection between magic and muggle,” as she would say at least. If it a positive or negative memory, Yuna has yet to come to a conclusion on that. But, if she were to achieve anything of prestige or note worth, she would already claim it to be the concept of her wish. A world where magic does not have to hide. Such a ridiculous dream, yet she’s still to learn as to why.

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why? "the disillusionment charm probably? 

it was my first spell! i used to use it all the time as a kid when i'd play hide and seek....but now i guess it's perfect for blending in."

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

"my worst trait? i'm too cute!....haha...i'm kidding...i'd say the my most positive trait is that i'm very ambitious and hard working, but...then i guess you could say my worst trait is my stubbornness? i'll do anything it takes to win, and some people just can't handle that."

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why? 

"power, of course. power can get you happiness and wealth anyways. why would you need happiness or money when you are in control of everything?"

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it? 

inha paused, feeling his throat constrict as he failed to come up with an immediate lie to tell. his biggest challenge? he wasn't ready to share that with the world, nor did he think his father would necessarily approve of him exposing his family's darkest secrets to the world. no one knew what happened that night— the last time he saw his real mother. no one knew his first spell was actually obliviate, and that he only was told to use it as a last hope to save a life. and to think he believed his father's words when he promised inha that he'd spare her if inha learned how to lift his wand correctly to save her. they all laughed at him and called him a hero— a useless one at that. "probably the time i saw this acromantula on a trip with my dad. i mean, not to brag, i just killed it like a champ. i'll spare you the details, though, just know it was pretty awesome moment."

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why? 

"what kind of question is this?" inha laughed, "i don't know...a tiger? it's my patronus afterall."

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life? 

"if i could be remembered by one thing it'd be that i was the greatest of all time. i just want to be remembered as the person who could do whatever they set their minds to because they were that strong-willed."

what do you think is your best and worst trait?

self-reflection is extra important for pisces this week, so i’ll start first—i think my best trait is being a straight hottie, and my worst... you can pick like, any five consecutive words from my report cards at ilvermorny. maybe, incorrigibly creative with disappearing assignments? prof hoff did not like me. oh, that’s another zinger, lack of respect for authority. sorry, hoffer, i swear you were my favorite professor :(

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?

ooh, that’s a hard one! since the wizarding world is all about our quartets, i’ll add my own little option to your question: luck! it’s all about fate, baby. wealth, happiness, power? trust me when i say that choosing them is up the stars, or the crystals, or the tea leaves. don’t forget, if you want a personalized reading, floo over to the quarter sharehouse with ₩50000 and you’ll get a little glimpse into what i’m talking about~

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it?

this is a real, true story! i was doing a little catoptromancy in the morning with my makeup, and i saw that the muggle world would be entering an absolutely awful time soon. but! i’d been planning on attending a muggle university at that point! i know this doesn’t sound like a huge challenge, but it’s really hard to figure out which visions are my futures, and which ones are a general future i can avoid, y’know? anyway, i made the total right call of convincing my parents to help me take a gap year—or two—to avoid that fallout, listening to a couple other whispers along the way. so i managed to dodge a crappy outcome and i ended up in hwando after travelling around, which is a pretty nice end to the end of the world vision that started this whole panic, i think!

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why?

an alligator! those big guys have some powerful teeth, and i gotta rep my hometown’s sexy, awful creatures. plus, it just looks like a lot of fun to be one of ‘em. no one would ever get in your way, and if they do... chomp chomp!

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life?

it’d be the wonderful readers of the wicker and their favourite columnist, of course ♡

“easy—reparo! i’ve always been clumsy with my things, so that was about the first spell i’ve ever learned. you wouldn’t believe how many times i’ve accidentally knocked over my step-mother’s favorite vase. that was not pretty.”

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

“ummmm i’m nice! it’s not easy being nice. or no, maybe nice’s not the word for it but friendly. yeah! i’m really friendly, i don’t think i’ve ever had an issue making friends. worst trait wise... heh, i’ve been told i talk—babble? stutter? any of those—a lot.”

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?  

“happiness. i rather be happy, my soul’s the fullest when things are looking up... though maybe... okay.. smidge of wealth would be nice too.”

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it? 

“you might’ve read about it—but when news broke about me being an illegitimate daughter of a macusa congressman that was honestly the worst couple of months of my life. and what could i do with it right? realistically? i smiled for all the photo ops and ran away from the paparazzi that followed me around.”

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why? 

“no lie, i want to be a jellyfish. no thoughts just vibes and happy in water all day!!”

“honestly? i just want to be remembered as my dad and mom’s daughter.”

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why? 

hmm, i'm torn between portus and accio. probably accio. portus is useful when i'm lazy to travel or running late. but that is why brooms, floo powder and apparition exists, right? they all serve the same purpose. meanwhile, accio has multiple uses. i can be on my bed and my drink served to me with a swish of my wand. i can be forgetful sometimes too and often misplace my items. so accio's useful for that incident too. oh! imagine this. you're outside but you left an important item back at home. that is what accio's for!

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

i heard from my friends that i'm charming? but i like to think i'm expressive. i don't hide it when i'm angry or sad. it is best for the other person to know what you're feeling so they will be aware. unless they are insensitive. as for my worst trait... maybe indecisive? wait no, probably gullible. yeah, that's my worst trait and i hate it. people likes to take advantage of my trust and break it.

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why? 

happiness. i'm sure you heard the saying 'money cannot buy happiness', which is true. money cannot buy genuine things like love and friendships. also, power sounds nice but i've seen what power can do to a person. they let it get to their head and becomes a different person entirely. just like my family... but that's another story for another day.

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it?

leaving the place i called home was the hardest thing that happened to me. being betrayed by my family and become a traitor in their eyes. it was rough and i struggled alone for sure. but i have to remind myself that there are people who stand by me and my decisions.

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why? 

a bird! the idea of roaming the skies freely intrigues me. there are times where i look out the window and wonder what it is like to fly without a broom or a spell, to be able to go whever i'm free to go without anyone stopping me.

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life? 

in my family's eyes, i'm the traitor. there is no doubt about that. but i want to be remembered as someone who is not afraid to stand up for herself and be whoever i want to be. just because i'm from a dark wizarding family does not mean i follow my family's beliefs.

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why?

the spell impedimenta must be his favorite. minjun has spent months perfecting a skill that is often undervalued yet requires a great level of concentration. it provides him with a significant edge in duels when his opponent is least expecting it. moreover, he appreciates the spell’s versatility, since it may not only paralyze targets but also propel them backwards or cause them to float.

what do you think is your best and worst trait?

his confidence in himself has to be his finest quality. while initially distrustful of others, there is always one person in whom he has the greatest faith: himself. he will always get back up and try again, regardless of how many times he falls. he inherited from his father the attributes of resiliency and tenacity, of which he is quite proud while opposing his father's ideals. despite his reluctance to trust, he prefers to see the good in others and want to do things differently than his parents; resulting in his worst attribute: stubbornness. his stubbornness is excessive. he feels that his own way is the correct one and seldom looks left or right. once he has formed an opinion, he rarely changes it because he is narrow-minded and obstinate.

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?

he grew up inundated with riches and power as a result of his parents’ power, which he originally appreciated but eventually found to be too shallow and lacking in significance. his option would be happiness without any more consideration. minjun feels he has not yet experienced pure happiness and aspires to discover a sliver of it by following his own way.

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it?

contradicting his parents' views and customs is undoubtedly his greatest challenge. while he values the traditional aspects of his upbringing and has incorporated them into his own life, he disagrees with their reliance on the dark arts. since decades, they had relied on the family's everlasting authority and believed they could exert control over whomever they wished. minjun found it intriguing as a child, but he soon recognized this is not what he wants to accomplish with his life. he stood up to his parents, partly fearing to be disowned, but mostly he was confident in himself and his determination to follow the route he picked for himself. his parents did not and still do not take his choice seriously. they hope he will soon see the benefits of dark arts and return to what they refer to as the ‘dark path’.

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why?

for one day, he wishes he were a bird. he want to know what it is like to be really free, to view the world from a new aspect and perspective, since he finds it difficult to do so. he wants to know what it's like to finally escape the cage his parents have been trying to put him in.

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life?

because of his unwavering confidence in himself, he would be remembered for that. minjun will never, under any circumstances, lose confidence in his own being and the decisions he has made regarding his life and how he wants to live it, despite the fact that his parents and other members of his family may disapprove of him. this is because minjun has made the conscious decision to live his life in accordance with his own values and principles.

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why?

“Well, the next question is, and I see here that you were abroad studying at Durmstrang Institute for a while. How was it there and if there is a favorite spell that you had learned there, and why?”

“Ah.. Well, I was only at Durmstrang for a year because dad wanted me there. You see, he’s not very… fond of muggles.” Yohan confesses as he sees the lady nods slowly while writing on her clipboard. “I was homeschool for a while after that but. My favorite spell… It’s none. I’m not into cursing people or charming them.” Yohan jokes and the interviewer laughs along though rather awkwardly. “Unlike my father, I like learning about muggles, and care for magical creatures. You don’t really need any spell for those, unless you plan to hurt them.”

what do you think is your best and worst trait?

“Well, moving on! How about your best and worst trait? You could tell us one and we will move on from there!” the lady changes the topic. 

“Maybe studious..? Would be my best trait. As for the worst trait, I’ve been told my curiosity gets the worst out of me. But you can’t blame me though, when the muggle world is so interesting. Especially those game in a block.” Yohan explains in excitement, drawing out a shape resembling to a ‘game boy’.

“A game boy..?” the interviewer ask curiously, then followed with an excited pointing from the former.

“That’s right! A game boy! One of the most fascinating creation that a muggle could make, both enjoyable to muggles and wizards!” Yohan explains with a grin. The interviewer softens up from her prior cautious stance upon the childish remark after the heavy topic from before.

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?

Yohan sits in silence for a moment, thinking about the choices given for the question. Wealth is something that he’s born into; with his father being born from a blood line of rich wizards from France. Happiness on the other hand, was something he could go without and that leaves one answer. “Power.”

The interviewer nods, and gestures for him to explain. “I have wealth, and that automatically contributes to me having happiness. I’m a simple man, it does not take much for me to be happy for. But with power, I could achieve more, perhaps greater wealth and happiness, if I wanted to. But power is not something you can buy but earned from your own strength, and having power, by the end of the day, makes me happy."

"Even if you had to destroy the people you love, if it ever comes down to such a route?” the lady before him follows up with a question.

“Especially if I have to destroy the people I love.” Yohan answers with no hesitation, leaving the latter to nod in silence.

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it?

“I supposed my biggest challenge in life is having to listen my father’s instruction. He still thinks of me as a child, 5 years old even, if you must. Though I supposed they have more freedom to think for themselves than I do. And how do i deal with it? First thing I did was rebel, and that’s why I left Durmstrang. Then I compromised, by coming here after the years of being home schooled. He compromised too, eventually…" 

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why?

“Well, thank you for the answer. There’s just 2 questions left, and you can be off your way. First would be, if you had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why? And lastly, what would be that one thing you are defined of, and the only thing you’ll be remembered for your entire life, even after death?”

“First last question, a cat. No particular reason, I think I can sleep more being one..? But they’re also really smart yet curious animal, and it sounds fitting for me, does it not?” He laughs as the lady nods and laughs along. 

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life?

“And the last one. I have thought about it before, and I’m not some kind of wizard looking for legacies to be passed on from my living and death, and to whichever generation that would worship me. I am but a mere wizard who likes reading the muggle encyclopedia, perhaps even listen to muggle music while I tend to magical creatures until the day I die. But if there could be one thing that I would be remembered and define for, is to be that one person who would not treat anyone less superior than myself. I have the wealth and a happiness of a simple man, and again it goes back to what is the one thing I want, which is power. Power to protect the beings and things I find fascination for, even if it means having to destroy anyone else who gets in the way. Even if one day my father decides to eliminate the things I care for.”

Finite Incantatem, he has an interest in reversing spells and also because he grew up always having to be prepared to counter unexpected spells aimed at him.

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

His best traits are that he is very intelligent and reliable when things need to get done. His worst traits are that he is obnoxious and a neat-freak.

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?  

Power, because that’s what will get him the furthest in life.

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it? 

Shun is teetering on who he wants to be versus who he needs to be and is currently still trying to figure it out.

An eagle, because he would prefer the freedom of the skies.

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why?

the wand-lighting charm; lumos.

nari have always hated the darkness, it reminded her far too much of her childhood when she was still anatasia heo back then. imprisoned in a dark room for god knows how long by her own father as a punishment for whatever misdeeds she had been accused of, leaving her all alone in the dark as she begged and cried to be let out.

oftentimes when a room felt too quiet, surrounded by darkness, nari felt as if the walls were closing in on her. it made her feel that her worst nightmares would come to life, clawing their way out from the darkest corners. perhaps she was being a tad bit dramatic, but nari couldn't help it. the dark had always held her worst memories and paranoia usually crept onto her. sometimes, it even echoes.

so its no wonder her favourite spell would be the wand-lighting charm. a simple yet effective charm that illuminated the tip of a wand, allowing the caster to see in the dark. and for nari who's always been afraid of the dark, the spell would be her greatest comfort as it reminded her that even in the dark, there'll still be light.

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

she is kind. even when the world is cruel.

the world is never kind, nor will it ever be. nari herself had learnt that lesson at a young age, an age where no children should be learning the grotesque cruelty of reality. however, even the world is cruel, it doesn't mean the people should be. and nari carries that thought wherever she goes.

kindness shouldn't be seen as a sign of weakness nor should it ever be. whenever the world grows to become more cruel than ever, people's devotion to kindness will always be tested. but for someone to give someone a helping hand, whether it be nurture or consolation, whether it be big or small, it is simply a testament of their strength and character.

perhaps some people may thought she was being ridiculous for her still having compassion when life had taken so much from her, they say her kindness is merely facade when that couldn't be more far from the truth. she is simply kind because she wants to be, as nari've always valued on giving others the helping hand they need and being generous in every action she takes because it was kindness in the first place that saved herself from living a life filled with misery, and so she sought out to give others the generosity she was given whenever she goes.

she's insecure. often doubting her own self worth.

doubts has been her loyal companion for as long as she remembered. they've always festered in her mind; hiding, waiting for the right moment to crawl out—to make her questions everything and anything about herself and her own. and hyun nari herself had always been her own harshest critic.

is she pretty enough? is she smart enough? is her magic good enough? can her grades be better? does she have to be better? how can she be better? is she ever enough in the first place?

nari doesn't knows, and probably will never.

she lies. sometimes too much.

lying comes too naturally for hyun nari and she absolutely detests it. it stands as a reminder to her that a part of her is still her father's daughter, and no matter how much she wants to deny it, it was still his filthy blood that flows in her veins by the end of the day.

she can't help it, of course. in a twisted sense of the world, lying became her armour. it protected her more than anything in the world. from getting the burnt of her father's rage, from getting taken advantage of her desperation, from getting exploited by the rest with her own emotions. lying helped her more than being honest would. but of course, she isn't made out of stone; with her still feeling the sting of her guilt, gnawing onto her fragile heart every time a lie falls from her rose petal lips.

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?

nari seen it herself how people would go mad for power. the prominent example of her father being drove to insanity as he indulged in his desires for control and became completely absorbed by his quests for power. all to the point he became insane enough to do the unthinkable; using his own child, his own flesh and blood— her, as a means of actions for the greater good he desired, making her his living puppet to experiment on.

she seen it herself how abundance of wealth is practically nothing when it wouldn't satisfy others. she seen her family members before her treating the luxuries around them as if they were mere toys and were useless nonsense, taking their wealth for granted as they lived and breathe into their materialistics things without a second thought.

she rather choose happiness. she knew happiness, thankfully for once and loved every bit of it. the pleasure of feeling such joy and glee even with the most simplest of things were just immeasurable and nari would do anything to experience such feelings again. so hyun nari would rather choose happiness  because what's the point of having power and wealth if you're nothing more but an hollow, empty shell?

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it?

the biggest challenge in her life would be trying to move on from the past.

she has always been haunted by memories. memories of a girl that was buried six feet underneath; the fragile little girl she used to be, who used to be her father's living toy, his puppet he aimed to use in his conquests for power.

scar and bruises, they've imprinted on her from the moment she could formulated a single thought— the everlasting mementos of her overcoming every punishment she had to endured along the countless experiments she had to go through, painting every inch of her porcelain-like skin. the pulsing testaments of her own endurance over each and every torture he'll conjured against her all in the name of the greater good he believed in.

it doesn't matter that her father is gone, imprisoned in azkaban forever for his crimes, that she's safe now and no longer has to worry for her own life. a part of her is always gripped by the fear that one day, he'll come and get her. it makes her feel too enervated, it sickens her, it plagued her. and all she wants to do, is to simply forget and move on.

how did she dealt with it? by making new memories; happier ones to remember instead, and locking the old away with the intent of forgetting them forever.

her grandmother chastising her to fix her posture, her mother whispering sweet nothings into her ears, her grandmother's nagging her on being a proper lady, the warmth that came from her fingers being intertwined along with her mother's, the airy giggles that surrounded her group of friends as they joked on and on, the warm atmosphere at dinner table with laughter surrounding them, the awe she always experienced from seeing mythical beasts right before her eyes.

all these memories she cherished will be the memories that'll replace the ones that continuously plagued her mind. the venomous words that slither off her father's tongue, the color red that always adorned her skin, along with a purple tint, the colors of his imprints. his cold stares directed at her as she sits by the end of dinner table, far away from the people who she was supposed to call them her family. the pity she sees in her older siblings' eyes, cementing the fact they can't do anything to help her and that she wasn't ever going to be apart of their family, as long as their father would have it.

does it ever work? no, but it will one day. she just have to keep trying and trying until it does.

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why?

if one must truly live as an animal for a whole day, nari thought that it would be nice to be like the animal of her patronus; like a doe. specifically, like the one or two deers that can be found around the gwangseon forest.

they've always seem so mystical even despite them being just ordinary creatures. with the canopy of sunlight reflecting off the doe, like a blade of grass in morning— it was almost as if the animal came straight out of a fairytale story. and for a vivid lover of fairytales and the myths, nari wouldn't think of complaining about a single thing if anyone told her she came out of a fairytale.

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life?

if there was one thing that nari would like to be remembered by, the one thing that could define her entire life; it would her love and compassion for magical beasts. she's always been so fascinated by them, ever since her mother took her to visit the silheungdo research facility where she worked as a researcher after her retirement from being an auror. she was in absolute awe of the magical beasts and immediately developed an interest in them after experiencing various encounters with them at the facility and immediately want to know more. with her admiration and passion over magical creatures growing day by day, she decided she wanted to become a magizoologist or either a researcher like her mother at silheungdo research facility where she hoped to worked to study as well as improving the conditions of the environment for magical beasts so they can thrive.

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why?

ahri couldn't possibly pick one spell, she's entirely fascinated with all of them but the one that she's had the most fun learning had to have been "expecto patronum" , conjure up your happiest memory... it took her weeks to learn it. no memory quite did it.. not until... and now it's probably her favourite one. not to mention her patronus is the cutest.

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

some of ahri's best traits: intelligent ( more than people think ) , quick-witted , observant , loyal and a fast learner

some of ahri's worst traits: impulsive , befuddled , sensitive and apathetic

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?

ahri absolutely despises questions like these, always unsure of her answer.. so painstakingly unaware of what she wants. what she really wants. they had all the wealth so her family would have her simply answer "power", but a part of her dreams of a kind of happiness that you could only hope for.

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it?

she'd chuckle at that, ahri's never had any challenges. she's miss perfect living a perfect life, raised by a perfect family and has the perfect grades. perfect. no room for challenges, nothing to deal with.

that's never the case now is it? ahri has challenges.. she has them everyday, here she stands a phoney in her otherwise ideal family, the woman hasn't belonged since day one but the problem is that she doesn't know how to deal with that. so she flows with the wind. smiles when they tell her to and does what needs to be done.

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why?

scoff. who has the time to think about things like that? not ahri, that's for sure. she's never thought about how freeing it would be to fly around like an eagle in the sky. no one to listen to, no one to be bound to and no reason to stop. still majestic and wanted, still powerful but living on the terms she'd set for herself. yeah... an eagle would be nice.

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life?

ahri hesitates with this one the most. the twisting in her chest with the thought of her family hurts.. but's the most accurate guess. has there ever been anything significant she's done that hasn't been completely shadowed by the yoo name? has she been brave enough to do that?

she'd be remembered as a disgrace by her family if she broke free, but others would've looked upto her and talked about her courage... wouldn't they? or would they have just called her an imposter who could truly never be loyal to anyone?

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why? 

"i guess my favorite spell has to be the one i use most, right? in that case, any household related spell. i don't like washing my dishes or vacuuming, so i prefer to do that with the flick of a wand. work smarter, not harder."

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

"my best would be that i'm very dependable, even if i'm not feeling particularly well. i know how to keep my cool and focus on the task, which i think is pretty positive... or maybe this is both my best and worst quality, actually. i never ask for help or tell people how i'm feeling. i don't know how to be vulnerable, you know? it's a bit of an awkward thing to admit, but the idea of being anything less than perfect is horrifying to me."

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why? 

"can i choose neither? i just don't think any of those are things you should get to choose. all three should be earned instead, especially happiness. i feel like that's always the hardest one to come by because it requires you to be at peace with yourself. so, i guess, if i were to be forced to choose one of those... it would be happiness. but that doesn't mean i'm with this whole picking and choosing business. but like, if i had to. if there was no other choice. then i would."

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it? 

"losing the people i love the most. my parents, for example. i foolishly believed their words and idolized them for so long. when i finally realized the truth, it hurt more than anything. then i lost an old friend of mine, too... i don't know how i dealt with any of that. i really wish i had an answer, but i don't. when you can't change something, you have no choice but to move on."

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why? 

"i would love to be a house cat. all i'd have to do is sit in the sun, eat, and sleep. perhaps get my head scratched every now and then or play with those fun little laser pointers. it sounds like a nice way to be; to do nothing but still be loved and cared for."

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life? 

"i think that has already been decided. the whole thing about my family being dark wizards and overall horrible people to the point they got imprisoned for the shit they did? because i gave them up? that one. forgive me, but i don't really have much to say about that. i wish to be remembered for other things, like being good at quidditch and potions, but alas."

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why?

for practicality purposes, siyeon would say the ‘capacious extremis’ charm because being able to expand the internal dimensions of an object to fit more than it looks like it should be able to is very helpful for many reasons. she is, however, also very fond of the ‘bombarda’ and ‘bombarda maxima’ charms - but that would look bad on her so she wouldn’t admit that out loud.

what do you think is your best and worst trait?

siyeon’s best trait is probably how dedicated she is, whether it be to her family and friends or her interests and goals. she’ll always go all in on things and people she believes in, and won’t hold back on any effort to accomplish something/see it through to the end or to support someone. it’s part of what makes her such a loyal and reliable friend/accomplice if you have her on her side; she’s basically with you for life.

conversely, she’s quite unforgiving which is probably her worst trait and works in conjunction with how stubborn she is. once you lose her trust, it’ll be hard to earn it back--if you ever do--or even just to have her not treat you like a public enemy. she doesn’t take betrayal or lying well at all and while she herself doesn’t always fully trust people, she would never say she has someone’s back completely unless she means it - so everyone else outside of that category has what she calls ‘tentative trust’. she might not be ride or die for you (yet) but she’ll be someone you can rely on for the most part, until you give her a reason not to be.

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?

she would choose power, hands down, but not the kind of power that overwhelms all or forces others to submit to her. she just wants the power to be able to protect herself and her loved ones no matter what, and so she doesn’t see anyone hurt--or die--anymore. it’s why she tries to be so strong outwardly so less people will want to mess with her or look down on her, which coming from hogwarts’ hufflepuff house and now the baekho house, means she gets a fair share of misconceptions and assumptions made about her. she hates being seen or thought of as weak so she’ll purposely do things to prevent that, like becoming a quidditch beater and eventually, captain of her house’s team.

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it?

it would be when her father was killed so her mother had to now look after everything on her own but siyeon could do nothing but watch it all happen - and see how much her mother struggled in the process.

their family was already in an unstable position due to family politics (her father’s siblings were all fighting for their parents’ hefty inheritance) and her father being considered ‘less’ because of his profession (pro quidditch player while all his siblings had what were considered higher profile or ‘more respectable’ careers) so him passing away only pushed siyeon and her mother further down the family totem pole.

thankfully, her parents had enough savings combined to move from london to south korea to escape it all but rebuilding their life there from scratch was difficult for just the two of them. while they don’t necessarily struggle with finances now, it was rough at the start.

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why?

siyeon would pick a cat because she feels like her personality is similar to how cats are portrayed. she would also rather be an animal that can just stay in the comfort of their own home and not have to fight for their life or survival, instead leaving a peaceful life.

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life?

siyeon hopes she would be remembered for making an impact in the medical world somehow, by finding or developing more methods and/or solutions to successfully heal and help others. she has dreams of helping as many people as she can whether it be athletes to citizens and anyone--or thing--who/that needs assistance, no matter how little or small it is.

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why?

yedam uses a multitude of different spells every day - notably the ones that are made purely as a source of convenience (to open doors, flip a page, turn on the shower). he’s been using magic his whole life, so it’s second nature to mutter a charm in order to get what he wants than actually doing it himself. a side effect of laziness and leisure that comes with being a magic user. but yedam uses aguamenti the most, a spell to make water from the tip of a wand. he uses it so much that he doesn’t even carry a water bottle anymore.

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

gang yedam is angry. it doesn’t show up in ways one typically suspects - but if you look close enough, you can find it. locked jaw, tense neck, the look of death in his eyes. on part of his godmother and her influence on his upbringing, he found a way to channel it. it wasn’t always like this (notable fights during his durmstrang years, affectionately dubbed as ‘the dark days of yedam’ by his godmother’s children) but when he finds out his anger is a secondary emotion, the root being grief, he can move whatever anger is there in the moment into a fluid movement during a quidditch game or practice. the anger hasn’t gone away, yedam doesn’t think it will, but it has a place to go now. it’s not trapped anymore. maybe it’s the inconsistencies life has handed him but yedam refutes stability. he likes in the moment things, spontaneous choices that often lead to consequences. living life on the edge, feeling the thrill of what things can offer, being free. he can go out of his way to destroy anything stable in order to chase a high. maybe not as well known due to his reputation and assumptions around him, but yedam is quite friendly. he gets along with people well (very much the friend your parents love more than you when they come over), including strangers, and settles into any environment well. exudes confidence and speaks first often. not shy at all. people find his former stories pretty different than who he is now. he’s very committed in being the best of the best - fueling a strong work and academia ethic. he likes doing things and being an all rounded type of individual.

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?

firmly wealth. yedam believes it can’t buy happiness but it can provide it, and where wealth lies so does power. in a way, he feels as if he’d have all three through wealth. with being a retired professional athlete in the muggle world, working, and having side jobs to keep him busy, yedam is financially comfortable for the rest of his life. a bit of a capitalistic monster so he still finds way to make quick cash alongside his (legal) job so that he has several things to tap into. likes expensive things and to travel as well.

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it?

specifically the time he was attending durmstrang and both doing go competitions. traveling back and forth, despite the ease of using magic for quickness, didn’t strip away the tiredness he felt. alongside catching up with school, he spends hours practicing and even longer to play the game. it’s the time he’s most out of control as a person - as a release for all the things he had been holding in since his parents accident, the mourning of a life he’s always envisioned but never had, the demands of his muggle career. he’s able to fly under the radar for as long as possible (drinking, smoking, underage hooking up, partying, fighting) from his family’s watchful eyes until it catches up to him. he’s gotten used to a routine, a cycle of misfortune at durmstrang which has always been a source of fuel for his anger. being there almost enabled it, and he doesn’t know how to quite deal with at first. but the change resulted in being fruitful in his own development.

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why?

perhaps a fruit bat. their lifestyle seems starkly different compared to yedam’s - much more straight forward and quite mundane. his life has been hectic since he could remember, always on the go and moving so fast he couldn’t keep up with his own life. while he doesn’t mind living life with a faster edge to it (and prefers it, honestly), even after retiring yedam never got out of such a fast life and continued it well into the magical institute. taking things slowly, eating fruit and living in trees, and sleeping half of the day for the rest of his life seems like a luxury he doesn’t have in this lifetime.

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life?

the simplicity of it all. of his mere existence, really. even down to the fine details. of being raised elsewhere, of living near the coast. being full of rage and thriving in it, and in return settling into some peace. yedam thinks his life is full of things that overall encompass the human condition - resistance. a torturous resilience that only humankind get to experience. boiling it all down, yedam thinks his life is so simple in the grand scheme of all things. almost like a smudge of a star on the outer edge of the galaxy, just barely there but shining enough that you still see it. it brings him misery and comfort all at once. is being simple even a good thing? how long can you continue to shine if you’re so plain?

what is your muse’s favorite spell and why?

chaerin considers lumos to be her protection spell. it was one of the first she'd learned from her father as a child and always keeps her safe from the dark.

what do you think is your best and worst trait? 

she's well aware of one of her biggest flaws - she often hears others whisper about her when then think she's not there. 'rin is so naive. she thinks that she can survive in this world just by working hard and being pretty. they're only using her.' she knows that others take advantage of her kindness, some even using her to boost their own status. but she wants to believe in the good of others. chaerin wants others to succeed. while others see her kindness as a flaw, she only sees it as something positive that others could probably benefit from.

if your muse had to choose only one between having wealth, happiness or power, which would they choose? why?

"wealth and power mean nothing if you're not happy."

what’s been the biggest challenge in your life and how did you deal with it?

having to make the decision to leave home on her own at such a young age was (and still is) one of the biggest challenges she has faced to this day. however, she was pursuing her dream and she loved to dance. throwing away the opportunity that her parents had provided her would only hurt chaerin more in the long run. she continued to preserver with her journey through her sole desire of making her parents proud.

if your muse had to live as an animal for a whole day, what would it be and why?

dogs are some of the happiest creatures she'd ever set eyes on. in addition to that, they are also love and adored by almost everyone. "it certainly wouldn't hurt to live as a pampered pup for a day."

what would your muse be remembered by if there was only one thing that could define their entire life?

she'd always hoped that she would be remembered by her smile. at the end of the day, all she wants to do is to keep her loved ones happy. when they think of her, she hopes that all they see is her bright smile. whether it be from a simple conversation they'd shared together in the past or from her performances onstage.
