if you could build an 800-900kg AWD hatchback with around 200hp, a half decent AWD system and a good amount of suspension travel, you could do some pretty wild stuff.

ideally thats the spec id love to achieve for the Rav4 in the future: micro hyperhatch.

dont build something objectively fast with big power and huge tyres, but something lightweight with a ton of control and focus heavily on acceleration over outright speed. make it a car you have to push super hard to drive fast, but also something you can easily play with in terms of chassis balance and driver expression. 

even make a GTR version with an extra 100hp for the track kids.

my ideal package would be a hyundai i10 with a Kona N-Line 1.6T engine and AWD system wedged in, with the rear suspension upgraded to the konas multilink. 

or 

an ACA22R rav4 with a 300kg removed, a downtuned GR Yaris driveline and driver adjustable shocks.
