kdrama gifs just always draw out thoughts and inspo out of me :’ ) like this one here has me just!! so badly wanting chiyo to have the experience of someone telling her something similar — that whether she’s agreeable or not, hotheaded or calm, chipper or gloomy, difficult or easy, she’s still the person they choose to have by their side ( be it in a romantic sense or platonic tbh!! ). if the groundwork has already been done, then that kind of statement would hit so hard in the best possible way ;;;;

it’s the kind of thing that would make chiyo not only feel accepted but seen as well. bc not only are they choosing her in spite of what she thinks are terrible flaws, they’ve seen through her attempts to hide her fear and insecurities. she doesn’t want to be vulnerable bc it’s terrifying. rejection is terrifying. but to be seen and still loved anyway is what she wants more than anything.

is her garden host to some prickly weeds? yeah, but it’s also home to such beautiful flowers. it’s still a beautiful garden. she’s still a lovable woman. that's always been the case.
