Creature time! We love Joey as a werewolf, and why wouldn't we? Trying to think of other fun ways to creaturify him. Dragons is also a popular one, given his connection to the Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Dunno if it's because it's Mermay or whatever, been thinking lots about him as a siren. (Which is also funny in the context of kaijou since Kaiba's the one generally seen as more ocean-aligned). Gargoyle!Joey is another fun one that comes to mind! It's basic but it's hard to go wrong when a form gives him wings (and some claws hehe).

Any sort of creature(s) you would like to see Joey depicted as?

omg thak you for this ask all i've been thinking about is jounouchi in many monster forms. sometimes i think it'd be fun to do a cryptid au where joey is some form of mothman (and honestly i think he's got some things in common with the fresno nightcrawler). i did some light googling for inspo and i know it falls under demon!jou but a hellboy au wouldn't be all bad either and obviously making him some kind of yokai would be a lot of fun...

next to gargoyle joey (which i've not thought of but now might have some fun doing) an orc joey would be very hot. i also don't write enough tentacle fic maybe a dark wizard seto trying to summon some eldricht beast accidentally getting the worst deal for power (ooh that's actually good i might write that one down). i feel like plant monsters get a pass a lot of the time too and there's a looooot of fun that could maybe be had with a nymph!jou or maybe mutation gone wrong and now seto has to care for him...

i think the one that might fit joey best tho is biblically accurate angel... plenty of eyes, wings, shining golden light, seto the non-believer getting on his knee to pray.........
