as a highschool choir kid, I thought it'd be fun to look at HoO characters' voice types, so this is that

I actually had a lot of trouble with these, so I'm sorry if this makes no sense lmao

Percy: baritone, don't ask why. It just feels right morally. He also just has a very pretty voice

Annabeth: yk how there's always that one soprano that feels the need to flex her vocal range?? That's Annabeth. I love her but my girl is such a showoff

Grover: countertenor. Idk Grover just has a pretty high-pitched voice in my mind

Jason: probably a tenor tbh. He's not as high as Grover but he's definitely up there.

Piper: she has the prettiest alto voice (not me projecting bc I'm an alto lmao) she def has quite a bit of range though, it's an Aphrodite kid thing

Leo: see, the issue with Leo. He has a very specific voice in my head. but idk how to classify it. Probably baritone but idk help

Hazel: mezzo-soprano, probably on the higher side but not quite a soprano.

Frank: bass, he has a pretty deep voice in my head. He's really insecure about his singing voice tho

Nico: tenor. This kid is 14, he's still going through puberty so he's gonna have a pretty high voice lmao

Will: I believe it's mentioned in tlo that the only musical talent Will inherited from Apollo is the sonic whistle thing, so I enjoy the idea that he can't sing to save his life. Like it's so bad that you can't even classify it lmao

Thalia: yk those super attractive androgynous voices that when you first hear it you can't tell if it's male or female? That's Thalia.

Reyna: she has one of those really deep, powerful voices, but she's also the type to secretly be kind of shy about her singing voice so nobody ever knows that
