What goes unspoken often finds itself thoroughly expressed by the form. Lulubelle had known it better than anyone, reading body language, engaging in the flow of earnest emotion as it pours out of every habit and mannerism. There were things she surely had to have known by now; the care others had for her well-being, the way they remarked her fondly, the unwavering commitment they had to reiterating that kindness upon her whenever necessary. Reality tied any openly bleeding heart to anchors just to watch them sink. No truth of feeling could find itself in the abyss of the ocean, so it thought, so murky and recluse. But her friends had always found a way, even when the mind and heart remained hazy and unsure. They had relentlessly scrubbed away the doubt, time and time again. The simple solace of a hand tenderly grazing down her back speaks louder than any words that followed, though she listened to them with all her heart. Not even the deafening silence of loneliness would keep her from hearing it.

A small smile begins to bloom over a face once a desolate looking field. That compassionate, emotional mind would cause any to doubt again. But, for the moment, the negativity regresses and she finds the room to begin growing once again. ❝ Thank you, Inana. ❞ Soft in tone, delicate in the way that it leaves her throat as if to fully expose everything. She had complete trust in the other, of that one could be certain. Gratitude could not be caged. The very jaws of hell would not find it in their aching teeth to tear that honesty away from her. ❝ That reassurance brings me untold comfort. ❞

If only others had understood just how much such sentiments really meant to her.
