practicing for my audition today had me realize I'm actually a pretty good guitar player?
#i'm the type of person that can never visualize their own skill. like there's always someone better than me and i'm always improving#and that's still true but i realize today that like. i've actually got a pretty good repertoire of skills#i can sing while playing. i can play fingerstyle. i can play metal/punk songs. i can play while standing#i can pickslide and am slowly improving on harmonics. i know a lot of songs from memory. i know a lot of solos. i can play bass as well#i'm by no means an expert but i can actually hold my own?? more than i realized??#bc i always see the skills I want to get better at instead of the skills i already have
