#i can tell the post is a criticism on fia more than on max but it really also feels like a huge discrediting on max and the freaking point

All these good and that, but this sounds so much like it is ignoring how well Max has been driving and winning the races fair and square? FIA acting like a bunch of idiots has nothing to do with Max? Like, this year is not sth like last year where the points were even a bit close? Like, Max got all those points on his own merit with his tooth and nails? This sounds like most of you people are ignoring Max's tremendous drive and just trying to invalidate his efforts by throwing a shadow over his honest work simply because FIA are a bunch of fools. In this season, there is nothing from Max's side haters can use against him, but this kind of talk feels more like a discredit to Max instead of a criticism on FIA.

Driver reactions to Abbey's new DRS at Silverstone

Driver reactions to Abbey's new DRS at Silverstone
Reacting to the FIA adding a new DRS zone at the high-speed Turn 1 at the Silverstone track, many drivers feel it is not a good idea to run the corner with DRS open.
The track’s first turn, called the Abbey, is a fast right-hander and is already tricky without the DRS. But if the DRS is open, the loss of downforce may affect the car’s rear.
Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel found the move “a bit confusing” and said he is “not sure what the intent is”.
“It’s a bit tricky,” he said. “I don’t know if we can do it with DRS open or not. We have to try, with the [new] asphalt, [grippier] tyres and so on.
“If anybody is likely to do it, then it’s us, as in the big teams with most of the downforce. So, I don’t know if that was the intention to split the grid even more.
“I’m sure other people have less downforce than us, so they will probably struggle more.”
Renault driver Nico Hulkenberg agreed with Vettel’s assessment and said the German’s apprehension is “probably true”.
“The top three teams, they’re in their own world anyway, so it’s not that it will change a bit in my life,” he said.
“I doubt it [Renault can take it flat with DRS] to be honest. It depends on the car, it depends on how much grip that new surface has, on the wing level you run.”
Many consider Red Bull to be the team with the capability to take the corner with DRS on.
Speaking during the pre-race press meet, Max Verstappen said: “I will definitely try it”. But both the drivers are aware of the extra load that will put on the rear tyres and will try to assess its impact on the overall race.
Daniel Ricciardo said: “It’s a pretty short, sharp apex. You’ve just got to try and not turn in too sharp, try and talk to the car, try and tell the car that it’s turning in without DRS instead of surprising it.
“If we can do it, that will be an advantage because I don’t think everyone’s going to be able to.
“But if we are going through there sideways and scrubbing off speed and killing the tyres, then it might be slower.”
The Aussie believes the additional 0.1s-0.2s gain is worth the risk. Carlos Sainz believes it is a “critical choice”.
“It’s a lot of lap time if you do it,” said Sainz.
“I don’t expect anyone taking that corner flat out with DRS behind another car, that’s why I don’t really understand if it’s been done as an aid to overtaking.
“Everyone will close the DRS in race trim before that corner. It will not help much overtaking. I expect it has just become a bit of a challenge for qualifying more than a race trim.”
