don't see enough ppl playing around with religious themes/imagery with audrey. damned shame. gay people get on that.
#wandersong#and by gay people i mean me#aret if you're reading this stop reading right here i'm abt to get wacky and spoilery in the tags rq#i can't stop thinking abt her dialogue in the caves#'i can't just PROMISE [my obligations to eya] away'#i keep on thinking abt the fact that without her gift bestowed by god she self identifies as 'useless'#i mean audrey's got TONS of issues so this isn't like. the Only One.#but i can't help but wonder what religion- what eya herself- really *means* to audrey.#i mean. i think there would be PLENTY of people who wouldn't destroy the earth even if god DID tell them to#and granted audrey wasn't explicitly TOLD that at first. but do you know how many people would STOP after they figured that out?#ESPECIALLY in the way audrey figured it out?#not to link stuff back to chr*stianity but it kind of reminds me of the 'sacrifice' of isaac#that sort of 'trust fall' experience with god. i frequently wonder if that's the relationship audrey sees herself having with eya#anyways. idk what im saying here
