I’m really proud with how this came out, has the ethereal vibe I was going for :D

basically she’s like.. a mix of all the overseers, however without the need to be killed, as, much like Eyala, she’s a little creation of hers with a duty that consists throughout the ages. Her job is to help make and sustain life in each world reset Eya makes, keeping everything steady until the world is too far apart and it simply must end. Until that time comes she’s either watching the world from above (in “The Highest Lands” as they’re called) or wandering around on earth, secretly or not so secretly (depends on if she’s disguised or not) helping maintain life by making more when there’s way too few of a certain population or making new plants and animals for people to discover and keep the spirits up, keeping the world running just a biiit longer. While she’s mainly on her own she DID have a relative made to teach her what to do, grandma Saphy, who, between her and her sister Ruby, both have their own separate roles they play, Miriam’s just not too involved in those.

Being an immortal, ethereal being like she is she uh.. has a hard time showcasing and really feeling emotions. Most of the time she’s a blank slate, and while she can be a little harsh at times she uh.. doesn’t exactly realize she’s being so- she could accidentally insult someone and not mean it at all cause she doesn’t know that’s considered an insult..

Basic lore she has is she was in the highest lands when she heard the bard singing and, for once, actually felt something raw and intense. Curiosity, fascination. At first she tried to ignore it, wanting to focus on her duties more and not needing to get sidetracked.. but she kept watching from afar, then next thing she knew the end of the world is coming. So, what does she do? Only now wanting the world to go on just a biiit longer because she actually felt more than stoicism for once? Disguises herself and got her grandma to help her, going to Langtree and faking the emotion she could fake best, grumpiness, going with kiwi and helping them on their lil journey. Though, who knows? Maybe she CAN feel things and just.. didn’t realize she was shoving it all down. Maybe that’s why anger is what she knows how to act out best. Hm! Guess she’ll find out..

…also when kiwi finds out about her being some sort of overseer goddess thing they’re quite literally so confused like wtf how did they do this, everyone is so concerned on how they managed to pull this off ACCIDENTALLY
