it's not like this is news but truly nowhere is safe from this kind of bullshit corporate brain rot and it's infuriating. every time i read some list of corporate schlock like this it makes me want to vomit. the funniest part of this to me is how "improve the site's performance stability and quality" is all the way at the bottom. fuck your concerns about making the site work or our questionably moderation choices. what matters the most to us is bloating the fuck out of this site's userbase so we can get as many eyes on as many ads as possible, and making it a miserable algorithmically generated hellscape where bad news and arguments are all that floats to the top because that's what gets Engagement™
