send me a fandom and i’ll tell you…

the first character i ever fell in love with: obviously naomi,,, i had seen parts of the expanse prior to starting it and i had happened to see part of the ep with the somnambulist and i was intrigued. & then i actually started it and her sass, when they're trying to patch up the knight and she tells them what they need to do and they stare for a second while she's already working and she stops and narrows her eyes and  asks them if they need a backrub first,,, i loved.  also julie !  i loved julie as both a character and the way she drove the plot without actually being there.   ( sidenote: it wasn't you know first but it was rlly early on, something that rlly warmed me up to holden was when that martian guard(?) collapses and drops his gun when they were at the donnager and prisoners essentially. and holden manages to unstrap himself and everyone at the bridge looks at each thinking oh shit he'll get the gun and holden just rushes to check up on the guy that collapsed. & i have to stop bc im gonna start ramblingabt amos and bobbie and-)

a character that i used to love/like, but now do not: again most grew up on me or I've had a liking from the beginning. alex kinda fits bc of what i learned abt his actor but then again separating the character im just not as attached to him as the rest of the mains

a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: it's not a rlly shippy show yknow. it focuses more on familiar dynamics/friendships/allies or rivalties even than ships so i can't think of one.

my ultimate favorite character™: i have to give it to naomi but there's sm wondeful and complex characters i absolutely adore ! like amos, bobbie, holden, drummer, avasarala

prettiest character: don't make me chose, the majority are gorgeous idk what to tell you.

my most hated character: marco this is your place to shine. i would dislike him just based on his relationship with naomi ngl but but he is well written and a good antagonist.

my OTP: n.olden & d.raomi ( both, both are good ), im also eyeing a roci poly fam so there's that

my NOTP: actually julie/miller. they didn't need to go there for me. especially given julie's state. it could have just been a connection.  it made me a lil uncomfy that he kissed her esp /then/ when they could've just stayed to being by her side and been a more familiar role.

favorite episode: my absolute faves so far given i haven't finished s5 are 2x05, 2x12 and tbh the season 3 finale

saddest death: julie, both times. oh and ashford,,, him singing as the airlock opens and he drifts into space ,,,

favorite season: i think i have to give it to season 2 because 3 had some not weird but maybe not ideal pacing but they're both rlly good and s1 was enjoyable for me which i think isn't too popular but yeah

least favorite season: given ive mentioned 1-3 above, it leave 4 here. which wasn't bad, it was different bc it was based more on a planet than space but there were def elements i rlly enjoyed !

character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate: idk enough abt the fandom's opinions to answer this

my ‘you’re piece of trash, but you’re still a fave’ fave: again this is a very grey show, exploring the lines between being vs doing good/bad so a lot could fit.  i mean technically if we're considering he was proud to help kill millions and kidnapped his mom, it's filip. but he's also a tragic figure and has been groomed @ this path almost since he was born so ahh

my ‘beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this’ fave: cinnamon roll is not what I'd categorize any of them tho most mains do deserve better bc they're trying their best and a lot of them actively chose to do good and help while get in the middle of shitty situations.

my ‘this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but i still love it’ ship: those ships are not usually my kind of ships.

my ‘they’re kind of cute, and i lowkey ship them, but i’m not too invested’ ship: p.rax/a.mos, the belter poly fam i love ! ( but i just met them so it's why im not too invested ) uh i can't think of anything else, oh !! anna and her wife were the cutest even if we got little content for them.
