3. Most common argument?

i have so much trouble coming up with things like this if i'm honest but hm, let's see... iwa and oikawa will sometimes get into arguments over oikawa's driving. iwa thinks the way oikawa drives is terrifying and oikawa gets annoyed when iwa comments excessively on his driving.

actually suga and iwa have probably argued about the same thing tbh. iwa is a big backseat driver and it can stress suga out when he's driving (and driving is already something that makes him a little anxious sometimes so he doesn't do it often).

i was going to try to come up w a common one for each of them but i'm having trouble for oikawa and suga. i think when they first started dating, suga got a little annoyed when oikawa made snippy little comments about kageyama. but it's not rlly something suga would say anything about either unless oikawa said something really out of line.

for something with all three of them... im not sure? i think it's rare that they have a disagreement where all three of them have differing opinions. they probably had some disagreements about communication when they were long distance and trying to navigate their different timezones/schedules.

8. Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?

iwa:

i think other than the few that he came up with for oikawa to tease him when they were teenagers (which i personally feel like he uses less when they get older/start dating), he doesn't really call them by any nicknames? he does use some pet names. sweetheart, baby, angel, etc. he sticks to the 'classics'. pet names of the overly cutesy variety make him cringe.

suga:

suga also tends to just stick to their given names for both of them but he does have a few nicknames for specific situations.

for iwa: iwa-san (said like "i-wa-san" in a lilting tone of voice) if he wants to tease and iwa-chan if he's drunk. him calling iwaizumi iwa-chan is usually an indicator that he needs to be cut off and/or escorted home.

for oikawa: not really a nickname but honestly if suga wants to mess with him, the easiest way is to just call him oikawa fjdklsdj. after they start using given names for each other, oikawa gets offended whenever suga reverts back to calling him oikawa

i think of the three, he uses pet names less? using their given names is intimate enough for him. but he likes love and baby. sometimes he'll use handsome for oikawa because it makes him really flustered.

also - he and oikawa will sometimes go back and forth calling each other overly cutesy pet names bc they think it's funny how annoyed iwaizumi gets.

oikawa:

king of pet names and nicknames tbh.

honey, sweetheart, sunshine, & baby are probably the pet names he uses the most often but they're not the only ones he uses. he's constantly adding new pet names to his vocabulary lol.

more specific nicknames -

for iwa: iwa-chan (of course), hajime-chan, godzilla-hajime, etc. the godzilla-hajime is from one of the seijoh radio dramas lol, i cannot take credit. hajime-chan might also be from a different radio drama? i swear i read somewhere that oikawa called him that but maybe i'm wrong.. anyway.

for suga: kou-chan, mr. refreshing, sugawara-sensei, etc. mr. refreshing and sugawara-sensei are only in very specific situations.

22. Who cooks more/who is better at cooking?

iwa! he loves cooking!! he's in charge of dinner and he likes packing bentos for suga and oikawa when he can. he makes sure everything is healthy and tastes good (and that it follows oikawa's nutrition plan).

suga cooks pretty often too, he likes cooking breakfast in the mornings and he enjoys baking.

oikawa isn't necessarily a bad cook but it's not really his strong suit either. he just knows enough to be able to take care of himself when he's by himself in argentina. he is a bit of a sap though so i can see him trying to at least master iwa and suga's favorite foods for them.

26. What would be their theme song?

i'm gonna go with someone who loves me by sara bareilles, i think. <3 it's one of my favorite songs and it's just so, so soft and sweet. plus i think i grabbed a lyric from it as a possible title for a wip so it seems extra fitting.
