So,,Kevin and Meadow used to be friends? Obviously the kiss drew them apart, but did they have actual feelings for the other or was it in the moment thing? I wanna know more Abt this!!!

Kevin and Meadow were BEST friends. Sleepovers with their other friends, trying out for sports together, and of course they started dressing alike because they were so close that they wanted to be as similar as possible. This of course led to a yearbook photo in their freshman year of high school, ths one to be exact:

but all good things must eventually come to an end.

Near the end of their junior year, sports are over, club meetings are over, people have more freetime, which includes weekends. Meadow invited Kevin over for the weekend to play games and watch movies and just relax since it was almost summer. Saturday night, Kevin starts thinking about stuff and doesnt even think about what hes about to do. He just acts and he gives Meadow a really quick kiss.

But then one turned into two. then three. Four, five, six

and then they lost count after a few more and things. MIGHT. have escalated a little. teeny tiny bit.

They both finally quit and Kevin feels. awful. He's absolutely worried about ruining his friendship, but he doesnt want to lead his friend on because in all honesty Kevin. Never even thought about his attractions to people and he was scared to, admittedly. So he just says he made a mistake, and that he was sorry. So, so genuinely sorry. The two were only 17 they had their whole lives to find other people to do that with.

Meadow just asked him to leave. Kevin obliged and purposefully left something at Meadow's house hoping it'd give him a reason to speak to him tomorrow. Kevin spent the rest of that weekend seriously thinking about what he did, and why he did it.

He knows friends dont kiss each other the way they did. Friends hardly ever kiss and if they do it's never on the lips like they did. Why did he do that, what made him decide to kiss his friend, did he like him that way? He also knew friends didnt do any of the other things they did together. Friends dont even THINK about doing any of that stuff.

Kevin could never come up with an answer to that. Not for a long, looong time. Meadow refused to speak to Kevin, though. Never forgot anything about that night. Refused to let their guard down around Kevin ever. Kevin got Meadow's first time for everything.

Does Kevin regret initiating the stuff he did with Meadow? The short answer: no, he just regrets not trying to fix things.

The worst part of this whole ordeal according to Kevin? That he didnt even figure himself out until he'd already destroyed himself and his reputation in town, that he lost the one person he cared about, and that he hurt so many people in the process of trying to hide what happened.

The worst part according to Meadow? They have a hard time picking a worst part of the situation. Maybe it was that he lost his best friend. Maybe it was because they never forgave Kevin.

All that's left is their relationship now. Strained, and full of the most painful memories the two could ever hold on to
