if you get mad at video games, do not buy yoshi and poochy’s woolly world

i was like ‘oh! the poochy amiibo is precious and i want it!! also, what a cute looking game! and it has an easy mode, so i won’t get too frustrated!!’

wrong

#the easy mode is... well it makes some things easier #but the game was absolutely just designed to be difficult #and giving yoshi infinite hover and puppies that point out secrets/ tie up enemies is absolutely not enough to change that #i feel dumb as a sack of rocks to be absolutely burning with rage while playing a fabric cartoon dinosaur game set to 'mellow mode'#i should NOT be yelling so much and gritting my teeth til they hurt while playing a game set to MELLOW MODE #anyway god are poochy and the poochy pups cute oh my god #i finally beat this level and the animation for the puppies bouncing around is precious #i don't regret owning the poochy amiibo; and the art is cute and i like making my own yoshis #the game is technically probably easier than a lot of other platformers; i'm just very easily frustrated #and i think the dissonance of the graphics and the difficulty really throws me for a loop #anyway i think i CAN 100% this game; while mario odyssey will probably sit forever unbeaten because the only moons left #are either very difficult to obtain #or obtained through grinding for coins which is boring as hell
