i spent the last two days doing nothing because i couldn’t bring myself to work on a project, but now i checked the deadline and it’s so much sooner than i thought. on one hand, uh oh, on the other, i can FINALLY work on it. surely this is a normal neurotypical thing

#the deadline is is one week however i will spend most of that week working #ok i’m gonna vent-ish in the tags beware #my therapist told me i should go get checked for adhd #but the thing i don’t know if i could trust myself getting a proper diagnosis #like i know adhd symptoms #i know common adhd things from internet and diagnosed friends #so i when i say ‘yea when i have an appointement in 5 hours i can’t do anything but wait’#is that an actual thing i do?#or am i just saying that because mental illness could excuse my laziness?#i feel like i don’t know myself well enough to truthfully answer a psychotherapist’s questions #without being influenced by ‘adhd things’
