your Favorite.... wow. i love that for you honestly it can be quite fun but i will be honest and say that i think it sucks So bad. pls don't hate me.

personally i think it's like. probably the worst of the prequel trilogy. they just get progressively worse but i felt like padme was one of the only decent parts of phantom menace/attack of the clones and then in revenge of the sith she literally didn't do anything besides get pregnant and die in the lamest way possible. like they couldn't even kill her in a meaningful or exciting way they were just like yeah actually this woman who's passionate about preserving democracy and protecting her people and has children just lost her will to live over anakin being anakin. it was So dumb like especially her going omg obi-wan no WAY he would kill younglings!! when anakin already told her in the last movie that he murdered a bunch of kids like dkvjdjjcdnc it's so ridiculous. like in phantom menace she spearheaded this big risky attack and in attack of the clones she insisted on going to rescue obi-wan despite the danger so idk why they couldn't have her Do something and get killed. they still could have made it anakin's fault yknow she could have gone down fighting against the sith takeover of the republic!! but she just. died because she didn't feel like living anymore. it could have been so cool if padme were like well aware that anakin has a dark side and maybe she rushed into their marriage in attack of the clones because they were young and in love etc but now in revenge of the sith she's starting to worry about the thought of them having children and like that becomes a Problem which helps drive the plot. idk.

honestly the whole movie was weird to me it felt almost like they hadn't really planned things out very well and they were scrambling to make anakin turn to the dark side and let palpatine take over as quickly as possible?? which is odd bc as far as i'm aware they had all three movies planned out from the start. but they ate up like All their time in attack of the clones with overly long and often goofy action sequences that didn't rly do much for any of the characters besides uhhhh chop off anakin's hand and give boba fett an angsty backstory. it's SO weird like they wanted to be super serious and angsty with this trilogy but they also wanted to show off as much cgi as possible and include some of the lamest and most annoying humor possible?? all at once?? and they didn't really accomplish anything they were going for in my opinion.

however, in its defense, revenge of the sith doesn't have jar jar in it, obi wan goes "it's over anakin i have the high ground!" palpatine tells us the tragedy of darth plagueis the wise, and anakin says every single line like he's fifteen and his mom just took away his xbox. so all of that is very fun.
