Thank you @nova-leaf for this tag too 🥰
wow i get to talk about myself so much im nervous
•How many tumblr accounts have you had before this one?
This is gonna be my fith tumblr account lol. I lose track of them really easily because I'm a silly funky guy with so much wrong with me.
• How long have you been in fandom?
Oh like. Since I was 10? God I remember my firat forays into fandom culture on amino it was an experience good god. My first fandom was Tolkien. I've only recently gotten into the Avatar fandom though. Still not sure how that happened but I'm having fun 🥰
•Your favorite trope in fiction?
I adore found family, cause I'm basic lol. The power of friendship is also a cheesy beloved of mine.
•Your favorite random fact?
Tolkien had beef with the Beatles. Hayao Miyazaki hates the Beatles. Junji Ito loves the Beatles.
•Your favourite game or kind of game?
Skyrim is my favourite game. Open world RPGs are my escape. I love them so much I try not to play them too often or I'll never get up lol.
•A place you’d like to visit? (If carbon emissions, logistics and money weren’t in question)
Hm. This is a tough one. I like to travel and I want to go to many places. But if I had to pick one point off that list, it would pribably be mount Shasta. I'm just curious, I guess, with all the legends and disappearances and odd happenings around it. Like I just wanna see the place not even have anything supernatural happen. Just be there for a bit? Call it morbid curiosity. Also the area seems beautiful even of itself like even if the aliens don't get me i think it'd be a nice hike.
•An animal you’re irrationally afraid of?
Ants. I like most bugs. I like spiders. But ants? Ants give me straight up panic attacks? I don't know why. There's just something very terrifying aout them.
Also. Swans. But that's not an irrational fear. Geese and swans are in my opinion the true successors of dinosaurs. If you haven't been a girl scout cowering in a flimsy tent with your three other girl scout friends, in the middle of a thunderstorm, while a pair of feral swans is trying to peck their way into your tent you do not know true fear.
Their pecks hurt like a bitch too. Their beaks are serrated like a fucking saw.
•What’s your favourite season?
Autumn. In Poland we divide Autumn into two mini seasons. Golden Autumn, which is early autumn, when the freshly fallen leaves are all crispy and beautiful. And then we have Rainy Autumn, which is when it has rained and gotten much colder. I love both.
•A smell that brings you nice memories?
Tea. I started drinking tea when I was very young. My dad is an Englishman and the moment i stopped drinking breastmilk i was immediately given tea with milk.
I think I associate tea very strongly with my family and feeling loved by them. When I was younger, my parents would often wake up before me, so they would often make me tea and wake me up with it.
Making tea for someone is still a huge gesture of affection to me and there's nothing quite like the smell of a nice hot cup of tea.
(If you’re ok talking about food. If not, delete this part)
•What’s your favorite food from where you were born? And what’s your favorite food from some place else?
My favourite food from Poland, huh? I love a lot of Polish foods, but I if I had to pick something it'd probably be krówki [which translates to 'little cows']. They're fudgelike candies, similair to Scottish Tablets and White Rabbit Creamy Candy. They're delicious.
Tumblr media
For food from a different country? @nova-leaf has put the idea of Shortbread into my head now so that's all ill be thinking about I have to see if I have the stuff to make some at home or I'll go insane.
•What’s your favorite drink (if you drink alcohol, alcoholic and non-alcoholic)?
Alcoholic: Salty Caramel flavoured Krupnik. It is very difficult to explain what a Krupnik is? Its kind of like a liqueur.
Non Alcoholic: Orange Juice. It used to be diet coke but my addiction got so bad i had to quit cold turkey lest I completely wreck my health.
•Do you give your pets random table scraps?
Not random table scraps, but if I have any extra of whatever I'm cooking, and if they can eat it, I'll sometimes give them some as a snack or as an incentive while training them.
Thanks for the tag honey!

Get to Know You tag game!
@blind-the-winds tagged me to get to know me better! I've done a similar one, but the questions on this one are different, so here we go!
Relationship Status: Engaged! Specifically to @crowsnest-creations who's trying to get back into creative endeavors in general and is the love of my life and wonderful!
Favorite Color(s): Answered this on the other one, so the short version is my time as a graphic design major made me a bit pretentious about colors and my favorite is situational, so I went with rainbow last time.
Favorite Food: This really varies, actually! As a matter of fact, my brain is a little funky and I can like something sometimes and hate it other times! However, if I need a pick me up, a grilled cheese will usually do the trick.
Song Stuck in My Head: Touch Tone Telephone by Lemon Demon. This is William's fault. It's the only song I have on his play list and nothing else is giving off the right vibes. Someone send help.
Last thing you Googled: how do you order coffee. This is also William's fault. Because he went to a cafe and I don't know the different coffee things very well. I hate bitter and my tongue will pick up even the slightest amount of it in anything and it will be all I can taste. So guess who never bothers with coffee!
Time: 8:19 PM
Dream Trip: The absolute dream trip would be one where I could just travel the world with my closest friends. I wanna go everywhere and see everything. But, if I had to pick something a bit more realistic, I think it would have to be Japan.
Last Thing You Read: The first book in the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull. I read the series, at least partially, as a kid and recently saw the first four while at Half-Price Books. Nostalgia trip!
Last Book You Enjoyed Reading: Still Fablehaven! I'm not sure I would enjoy this series as much if I hadn't read it as a kid already. Huh, that just keeps happening to me, huh? But it's a nice premise and everything gets set up pretty nicely.
Favorite Thing to Cook/Bake: Hahahaha... Here's a secret about me. I tried to learn to cook and I just. Honestly. I hate it. It stresses me out intensely, because everything I make just tastes OK at best to me and something about the way my brain works makes me not want to eat things that only taste OK. It's gotta be good. So I leave the cooking and baking to my fiance and just fetch them ingredients and clean up the dishes afterwards. If I had to say a favorite thing to help with though, I think it'd be cookies. Couldn't say why though.
Favorite Craft to do in Your Freetime: I've been enjoying embroidery quite a bit! I don't do it super super often, but it's mostly because I have hit the snag of having a hard time with pattern transferring. I've got a new method I'm going to try as soon as the supplies come in so. Fingers crossed!
Most Niche Dislike: OK. I need y'all to bear with me here. Because honestly? People have freaked out about this before. I. Hate. Donuts. I hate the way they feel in my mouth so much I can't stress it enough. This has been a big deal to pretty much everyone I've spoken it aloud to and I can't for the life of me understand why "I don't like donuts" is such a controversial statement to most people on this planet.
Opinion on Circuses: In theory, they seem cool, and I'd like to go to one that doesn't have all of the... Problems I've heard about. But I think I'll stick to the ones in fantasy worlds where everything can be assumed to be good.
Do You Have Any Sense of Direction: My fiance and I have a joke about "This is a real left" for a reason. I mix up my lefts and my rights very easily if I don't have time to focus so uh, no. Not in the slightest.
Alright, tagging time! @calicojackofficial @midnight-and-his-melodiverse @eleanorawritesfantasy @crowsnest-creations (to help you get involved a bit easier, love!) @writingently @andromedatalksaboutstuff @365runesofwriting @bardic-tales

10 songs I've been listening to recently (tagged by @kemplet )
Thank you @kemplet for tagging me in this. Rules are, if you're tagged, list 10 songs you've been listening to recently and tag 10 other people.
1. Sanctuary by Utada Hikaru
I fell in love with this song on 26th December 2010, when I played my first kingdom hearts game, 358/2 days and never stopped loving it. This is my favourite song, it reminds me both of sunrise and sunset (because of listening to it before going to school and in the game the characters meet at sunset to eat ice cream). It's so bold, hopeful and pure, much like the themes and characters in the kh franchise.
2. Element of a dream by Lily
A now forgotten anime movie known as wrath of the ninja, played probably the most beautiful ending song I had ever heard in my life. It sounds like something you can dance to at a ball, but as it was recorded in the 80's, of course it's got a guitar rocking out in the background. It sounds triumphant and sad at the same time (which makes sense with the film's ending); it's even more sadder, as the first time in 5 years, I'm finally able to translate it and it's lyrics relate to the film.
3. Twilight by Yuiko Tsubokura (in Japanese) and Annabelle Clifton (in English)
Another anime ending theme song, from the legendary bubblegum crisis, this one comes from one of the most 'forgotten' of the 8 OVA episodes, 'Revenge Road', as it's ending theme song. The episode was fast past, so to hear such a slow, soulful ballad play as the credits start rolling was unexpected, but welcomed. The English and Japanese both sound similar, Yuiko's is more powerful and melachony, but Annabelle's is more softer and hopeful, which is a nice touch.
4. When by CC and Co
This one is a funny story, I found this song by taking a chance with an AMV known as 'Yu Yu Hakusho Goes Funky!' and by god, I loved it. I like funk music and this one just took the cake. CC's vocals are amazing too.
5. Computer love by Zapp and Roger
While browsing youtube I found this, I love the electronic sound and the vocoder voice change of Roger Troutman is mysterious and full of life, which is a feat that is hard to achieve intentionally. The backing vocals by Shirley Murdock are good too and it's a classic. It fits the scene with Caine with his new rims in 'Menace II Society' quite well.
6. I have nothing by Whitney Houston
I love Whitney Houston and this is my favourite song. Naturally, Whitney's voice alone is one of the most beautiful and powerful to ever be heard on this Earth and to be combined with a strong piano accompaniment worked. As it's a major song in 'The Bodyguard', that repeats several times, it had to be memorable and glamourous, but also soft and touching, very much like Rachel (played by her) and Frank's (played by Kevin Costner) love. It melded to become a song about unconditional love and how determined she was to have her man.
7. Weak by SWV
This song I think, articulates quite well what a lot of people are scared of when they fall in love with someone so strongly- becoming weak. However, we can't fight it or control it, it takes over us and we hope it all works out in the end, otherwise the comedown will be very tough and emotional. I love SWV anyway, but they honestly delivered well once again.
8. Will he by Joji
So I've liked the music under Joji for a while and support Joji as an artist because I feel like there's a lot of similarities between us, which makes me admire him quite a bit. He drops this track and I've not been able to stop listening to it, I feel like this is the emotional comedown that weak by SWV was talking about if you fall in love and it ends up hurting you.
9. Last Christmas by George Michael
I dislike Christmas songs in general, but this one is really nice, it doesn't reference Christmas much outside of the chorus and George Michael is awesome, I'm still sad he's gone.
10. The power of love by Frankie goes to Hollywood
I can't honestly believe I've never heard this before, I mean it's now marketed as a Christmas song (maybe I have and it didn't strike me as a good song until now). I honestly prefer it as what its intended to be- a love song, it's unconditional and self-sacrificing, which is beautiful.
I tag @thegaleandlance @angel-with-a-pipette @destiny-islanders @kiraraboshi @heliosdraws @chachacharlieco @diamondwerewolf @mysterious-figure @nortmare @lenbarboza @umiryuuzaki-mkr @davina-jade
