i think plot-wise fallout 4 should have taken away the stolen baby plot point and just have the sole survivor hunt down their spouse’s killer. either for revenge or for answers.

it could have been idk. the institute collecting info to create replicant synths of vault dwellers and you witness them kill your spouse and wham bam you get a typical bethesda fallout plot where someone is looking for someone else but it’d have a plot element less obnoxious than looking for some kid.

#i don’t play bethesda games for the plot mind you once i get to a certain point where i have stuff i Need it’s a wandering sim game.#the whole ‘invasion of the body snatchers’ aspect of the synths was genuinely creepy and interesting.#i forgot u can run into a random synth pretending to be preston and idk that’s CREEPY to me.
