It's so Itadori family-coded it's unbelievable. The overall eeriness striking the uncanny valley effect. The miscommunication. One partner being oblivious to the other one's condition and ignoring the issue. The marriage coming apart at the seems. The stitches getting mentioned. The metaphor of possession standing for wrestling one's inner demons and mental illness. The feeling of being watched by some haunting unwanted presence that you cannot shake.
