Sometimes I think Abt how all of my comfort objects in school were either confiscated, stolen or destroyed by other kids and teachers like man wtf was up with that
#i remember i had my dax skelanimal that id take everywhere and it got stolen from me#i had a sonic plush that some girls took and cut apart after i said i wouldnt give it to them#i had a toy octopus sharpener that a kid yoinked from my hand and started cutting up and filling with glue#and whenever i told the teacher the teacher was just like 'thats why you dont bring toys to school' :/#and like countless other things teachers took and destroyed or just never gave back to me#i remember having a toy skeleton on my desk that i wasnt even playing with i just had it sitting there bc it was comforting#and the teacher took it away and never gave it back aka she fucking stole it#i was pretty poor growing up so i didnt exactly have a lot of nice things either#ableism#i remember like being so anxious and school like trembling and fidgeting bc i needed something to hold and comfort me so bad#and id resort to humming or my foot would tap and then id get snapped at#theres literally no winning if ur a neurodivergent child in public school
