TYPE ZERO MISSION : first fanmeet experience solo COUNT : 395 words

“hello!” dowoon greeted brightly as his first fan came up to him. she was a shorter girl with straight bangs and a white shirt with a large sun covering most of the front. she introduced herself and handed dowoon a bright blue flower crown, which he immediately placed delicately on his head. once that was done, he asked her “can i tell you a secret?” 

he cupped his hand to the side of his face and lowered his voice to a loud whisper (there was a lot going on so he wanted to make sure the fan could still hear him) “you’re the first fan i’ve ever met properly, so i’m kinda nervous...” he looked down shyly. the girl began to protest that no, she should be the nervous one of the two. dowoon giggled and covered his mouth to hide his laughing face. again, she protested that he shouldn’t hide his smile, since it was cute. at that he got really shy and could feel his cheeks warm. 

he got the signal from the staff to wrap up the interaction, so he asked her, “am i signing this?” referring to the album that she had place on the table in front of him. she nodded and thanked him. she added that she really enjoyed his performances and his progress--since she had been a fan since future dreams. “thank you!” he responded eagerly. he knew he was one of the more popular male members on that season because of the rankings, but it was a different feeling to see a living, breathing human representing his old rank. “and thank you for continuing to support me and type zero. we--i wouldn’t be here without you.” he added and meant it. dowoon felt incredibly lucky to have been given the support he has been...he wasn’t sure he deserved most of it, but was grateful for it nevertheless.

once it was really time for this fan to leave and the next one to come, he looked at the girl and asked, “before you go: how did i do for my first time?” she responded that she thought he did well, but to remember to smile openly and proudly. in response, dowoon smiled wide and if her shy and giddy expression was any indication that was the correct move. he thanked her again and bid her a good farewell.
