Jane had retired after finding out the truth of the Timeless Child. She was living a normal life under a fake name in an apartment on Ruby Road. She spent 3 years getting used to normalcy and she was certain that was what was going to continue to happen for the rest of this life... Until she gets dragged onto the dance floor by a stranger at a nightclub.
