The sunflower trio keeps me awake at night. I love the idea of something like the original love triangle (yashiro x hanako + Kou liking yashiro) but with these three. I think it would be so interesting Akane x Aoi + Teru liking Akane, it makes sense and it's so heart wretching, to see Teru made shit with his stupid one sided crush while they're in a weird kinda relationship/mutual crush, how Teru dislikes when Akane talks about Aoi, seeing him in love like always and each time knowing he won't ever reciprocate his feelings. Its mind and sould crushing I hate them I'm prolly just projecting sorry I hate tjem

I once again have another terukaneaoi au (I love these losers so much) it's a camp au with a bit of a twist. (not really tbh)

It's the summer of 89 and all the parents are excited to send all their children to summer camp, which Aoi and Teru happened to get sent to (Kou comes along as well but is quickly separated by Teru because of his age, the camp is massive and is divided up by grade school, middle school, and high school) Aoi and Teru both have a goal set in mind, both don't quite know each other despite going to the same highschool but both are determined to kill one of the high schoolers in there camp and choose the same target, Akane.

Teru has a messed up mind, he's sadistic and violent and he hides behind a carefully built facade of a kind and thoughtful person so he can keep others from suspecting him, he's an exorcist, he's exorcised humanoid supernaturals, and he's always wondered since a young age what it would be like to kill one of his kind, the kind he has to protect. Aoi is the same way, she parallels Teru even if they are different in ways, she's watched horror movies, never seemingly reactive to them, she used to kill small animals and scrap them in an empty book when she was a young child. Her mother seemingly worried sent her to therapy and pressured her to be normal, she needs to kill something bigger, her curiosity is simply too much to handle and she wonders if they will react the same way when killed like in the movies.

They figured camp would be the perfect place to kill someone at, and so they chose carefully, meticulously, as after day one they decided Akane was the perfect target. He seemed quite quiet and reserved and they quickly tried to become closer to him, and tried to get him to trust them, (Teru and Aoi bumped heads many times, sharing glares as they begged for Akane's attention) They quickly realized he might have not been the best target, he was suspicious and wary of them, on the border of disliking them (although he was more fond of Aoi) he was very helpful and usually a lot of people were talking to him or asking for help, he was constantly surrounded by people, going back and forth to people. He was athletic and a lot stronger than they expected (They were both sure he'd be quite tricky to kill, but both thought a challenge could be fun)

So, they both kept trying, they eventually became a known trio within the camp, Teru and Aoi started trying to attempt to murder him many times without him knowing but withdrawing because the two were becoming quite attached to him.

I kinda like terukane but I really wish teru would just apologize for the abuse he set on akane. He strait up tortured akane for being a half supernatural and played it off as a "haha silly stress toy" thing and just slowly stopped doing it throughout the story. I swear if in that courtroom teru is like "I...the one i like is you, akane" and then the chapter just ends like that me and aidairo are gonna be throwing hands

Ok so on the topic of headcanons, I know I haven’t mentioned it yet but Terukane has been a gruesome infection in my brain for over 3 years now, and it’s about time I let the brain worms breathe

Terukane infested their way into my brain mostly because they both just so happen to be my favorite type of character design and character archetype (middle part and glasses / absolute wet cat of a man) so them also having a dynamic that makes me both very ill and also jump for joy is (to me) a combo made in heaven.

But I’m picky, especially picky with characterization in fan fiction. And I’m glad that most fics of them are written by people who understand how they behave in-series. Though my biggest fault may be that I love to write but hate the act of writing, so every idea I have is forever locked away in my noggin, I can attempt to get out something here.

Quick note I’m not a weirdo so don’t think I mean anything in any weird way at all, if you do I’ll eat your family. Okay? Okay.

Smitten Teru is probably my favorite out of any characterization of the two, just because I love how it can either be mindrottingly sweet or just ,sad, personally I love going the “kicking feet and giggling” route but both are great in their own regard.

It also might just be that I can’t really see Akane behaving the way he does for Aoi to Teru, a lot of people just kind of move Akane’s unhealthy attachment issues to him without understanding why Akane behaves like that around Aoi in the first place. (I have a whole thing about that) So it’s refreshing to have him, like, not do that.

To add onto that: aloof/repress feelings as hard as possible Akane totally rocks, and I love seeing it. Especially with the “why in the FUCK would I have LIKE someone like that??” kinda shit, rocks me, love it, can’t get enough. God it’s like the only time where cheesy relationship junk doesn’t give me second hand embarrassment, cause like they’re both so unbelievably stupid at relationships, and watching them be awkward and terrible at it really alleviates the whole existential life-or-death stuff happening in the actual manga. Losers in love kills me, and they are just that. GOD I WANT TO THROW THEM OFF A RAVINE

Also, I know a lot of fan fiction does this, but it’s never to the degree that I wish it was. Flustered/embarrassed teru kills me. It always kills me in anything when he just acts like a normal person, just like, expressing normal people emotions but because he’s so repressed it just like kills him. GOD I went through like a six month period of not crying and the moment I did again it felt like I got hit by a bus, could not IMAGINE barely ever crying my whole damn life. A good hard cry, that’s what he needs.

Anyway, I think that’s enough, if I let the brain worms out anymore they’ll form a union and force me to pay them more. Ninja out

Something we need to address.

Very strong image for the start of a blog, I admit. Although I have blocked words out for personal reasons. I needed to discuss publicly how although I am anti-harassment, this type of "Callout in tags" and mentions of "complaining" when setting boundaries is absolutely disgusting. I will be writing my horror/thriller fanfic, I even started it when the votes were settled yesterday. But this is my genuine moment of taking a breath in and sighing. I was hesitant over whether I should even talk about this on Tumblr or not but there are very few TeruAoi fanfics on the tag and the fanfics on it are horrible outside of my own. I'd love to see less and less of this type of fanfics. This is the fifth one I see online. You are allowed to disagree with my "joke" headcanon as it all started from a typo which made me gain mutuals, but I like both cis and trans Aoi. Can we start a challenge with fluffy TeruAoi writing? Just one day other writers on the tag write fluff for them. Anything, small drabbles really. Life isn't entirely about sex and smut, I'm not going to dictate what you can and can't read, but please try to provide other types of content. Spamming a tag with an already bad reputation and using my headcanons to directly call me out is simply mean and uncalled for.
