writing aeri in her modern verse makes me feel so bad for her in her thg verse. while in her modern verse she's at her pinnacle and she's gonna go higher, in her thg verse, literally, she gets the rug pulled from her feet just as she's getting to the top, tumbles all the way to the bottom and then over the course of five years claws her way back to the top....

Clato fics

Since there are very few really good Clato fics out there, i thought I'd share my faves:) these are all on fanfiction.net btw

Also, a disclaimer: they will destroy you. You will never feel happiness again. Your heart will shatter at the sight of their tragedy. Noe let's begin.

A-GIRL-NAMED-BILLY is and INCREDIBLE author!! I adore her one shots (kiss it better, Fairweather friend, Peace in war etc.) but mostly the long fics!! The combination (104k+) (prequel) and The conspiracy (70k+) are canon compliant, in-character, provide beautiful backstories, are very well written and overall true masterpieces!! Heartbreaking!! I cannot recommend them enough. Definitely a fave in canon fics.

As for alternate ending the crown belongs to Bellona & Mars and Ichor (an unfinished sequel) by the wonderful Bellicose Blue. They are absolutely SPECTACULAR, thejr writing is perfect and their fics make my heart collapse. They also have great Clato oneshots and drabbles (Proioxis - a collection of drabbles, Cheap shot (very AU, ridiculously fluffy i love it), memento mori, mock me, mourn me, vainglory (oh godddd), antebellum etc.) and a huge collection of THG fics centered around other characters as well (glimmer, finnick, annie, seneca, joanna and more). Like these oneshots are unspeakably beautiful.

These are the ones that absolutely killed me and are beautifully written and oh so sad. Hope this helped:)
