a most valid inquiry, so you see in the 8th grade my teacher had us read machiavelli, and it wasn't until the 10th grade that we did shakespeare's julius caesar
#one of these eras got a head start on giving me brain worms in a way that mattered and it wasn't ancient rome#making a whole ass comic about cassius is easier than attempting an extremely clunky translation of a biography#of a man during a very dense part of italian history and yet here i am. attempting that.#there's also the very clunky cassius biography/source book im putting together#however im making a smiliar thing for this ascanio biography because every other paragraph i am learning about New Events#like i knew milan had codes and cryptography because i have a collection of translated dispatches#but there was a whole guy in charge of that kind of thing and im just so.
