I think what will always be beautiful and rare about music to me is how much it can put a frame around a moment in time for you to keep and look over again later!
#this post brought to you by me digging around in my 2020 music today#i have a specific sequence of: don't wanna - HAIM & talking to myself - gatlin & can't fight - lianne la havas#that somehow instantly conjures back up to me how thoroughly my heart was smashed back then#it sounds weird but it's comforting to me to be able to visit myself from the past and say hi!#and also to feel a little forlorn and sad because i always make a giant playlist each summer#that is a great capsule to go back to rifle through and remember#but i've been in a stupid music drought this year and didn't really make one#but you know. tis okay. with my friends spoonfeeding me their music and my micro playlists I'll survive#dramatically places a hand over my forehead like an ailing lady!#hello tumblr <3 how are you are you enjoying new maisie and the strange liminal space of august? i send you all love!!#meaningless eden text posts are a dying breed i almost miss them
