i could probably get mooooore behind dorym if it was explored in the same way i ship imogearne, that is where orym sees dorian as safety, as hope, as the only thing keeping him from losing everything solely by being there, by being himself. and dorian cares for and trusts him but not quite enough to feel the same but there is still love and respect there rather than "aww the cute lil guy is sad and shy! he needs dorian to insta-fix him!" vibes that everyone else is pushing. like sure its cute but i've made my opinions on "they can fix them/each other" ships very clear lmaooooo
