for a witch of the world's heart, ame is remarkably bad at getting along with people. like holy fuck. every conversation that isn't an expedited "oh i say X" with nameless crowds of NPCs just crashes and burns. someone get me that suvi quote with "you still can't get that smartass tone out of your mouth whenever you talk about wizards". i feel like every conversation she's had with someone from the citadel has gone "I think every part of your worldview is incorrect compared to mine" and then when that fails the conversation is still going she's like "How's your relationship with your parents?" which is like. jesus christ lady. lets reel it in for 5 whole seconds. also i'll fuckin say it, asking the horses "which of you wants to die" was fucked up.

#like i have had a long hard struggle with social graces #i have to intentionally vibe-check things with my Mental Database of what tones and expressions mean #it does not come naturally it is a hard-earned ability #but holy smokes #hitting silver with the 'i think youre wrong and i was right and also youre all sheltered. but sure dude ill comply'#girl if you said that shit to me i would be Annoyed #like you have missed the point of the conversation and are doing surface level compliance while being snarky about the cause of the request #i dont wanna hear shit about being sheltered from a girl whose first time to a coffee shop was like 3 weeks ago #there are Varieties of 'sheltered' and ame is very much one of them #but because her shelter had running space and trees she doesnt consider it being sheltered
