i am probably going to regret going down this rabbit hole but.... what programs are the go-to for playing around with animation these days? just for fun.

#necessary features: ability to use a sketch/brush tool that feels like a drawing program and not like vectors. onion skinning.#ideal features: music import (specifically with timeline scrubbing + a visual). no or large frame limit #i haven't been in this industry for over a decade... i'm out of the loop.#i'm on windows PC mostly but i do have an ipad with the pencil. i just... i'm not good at it. i can't draw on the phone.#(HOW do people DO that!??! on the PHONE? with your FINGER? that is unbelievable. you are all amazing.)#can you animate on procreate now? god i need to get less scared of the ipad.
